For those that like to go LOoooow!
Found this app a couple years ago when searching for an iPad/phone app that could produce a decent “Psy” bass (no laughing).
Eureka!!! BASSalicious! Maybe it’s the 4 pole zero delay filter. Of course, there’s tons of bass presets that cover any and every style out there and you get a lot of buttons to tweak! Plus a great fx suite w eq, compressor, limiter, etc.
To my horror the app began crashing in GB back in March. So I emailed them. They responded the next day. They took care of it with an update and I’m back in Bass bliss!

The Quality is Second to none!
Man these bass sounds are so organic and analog sounding. It’s like a buffet of all of the best synth bass sounds over the years. Top notch.
Unreliable
Sounds are great and very easy to use, however when I record in GarageBand, if I close a project and re-open it the recorded bass sound doesn’t work. I have to open the plug in within GarageBand and select the sample folder again, then re-select the bass sound I used. This is very frustrating! It also means if I want to export the song to a WAV file the bass doesn’t come through and I have to merge the track to an Audio track to work.
If this issue is resolved it would be a 5 star product.

Not Working
App is not working, 1,000s of sounds dissapeared. If you changed the format, noone contacted me about. It does not appear apple knows anything about. We cant go to your GM page with a serial # because we purchased it thru Apple in its app store. $20 is the upper limit on Ios synths. I need to get this working. Still Crashing
Firstly, why is there only reviews of 2 or 3 years ago to look at? You are not doing buyers any good by not posting recent reviews here. Now, after owning I have used this App in many songs on NS2 and C3. Surprisingly, when I get back to play these songs after days, I find the bass sound missing, though the waves are still visible. I have deleted and redownloaded the App couple of times, but I’m still faced with the same dilemma. I love the sounds but……now, Not happy with this.

Excellence beyond words
I have been using this app for over a year and it is absolutely amazing. I would urge anyone who wants to create their own unique bass sound using four separate oscillators that contain hundreds of wave tables, just incredible.

I am very impressed with this app, the quality and choice of bass presets are outstanding, the problem is this makes my search for the perfect bass sound even harder because there are so many great basses to choose from. For years I had been using Spectrasonics Trilogy Bass Synth vst in desktop Cubase, nine years I migrated to iPad Cubasis, sadly I missed having access to Trilogy. But now after purchasing this brilliant app I am happy to say that every type of bass I will ever need is here, there is also much - much more control than Trilogy, I just wish I knew about it sooner. I give it 10 stars.

Truly awful
As with the other apps by this dreadful developer, this actually has great sounds but is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot.
Every time I boot it up it say it’s ‘not installed on this iPad’.
And when you finally do get it up and running as an auv3 it continuously quits on both of my up to date iPad Pros and my M1 iPad Air.
I will NEVER buy anything from this company again, and I urge you to save your money and spend it elsewhere.
Utterly ghastly experience, and a waste of cash.

Not really worth it
Same clunky interface. A mono synth for the preset type user.
Disappointing
I wanted to love it but it has some serious tuning issues and you can fiddle with it forever and get nowhere. A great deal of the sounds are some sort of novelty joke but it’s no joke. The electric guitar emulations are the worst, some notes are flat and higher up the scale are sharp. If you want great authentic bass sounds this is isn’t it.

Great app but pitchy on 2020 Pro
Great app, love the sounds, it was great when I used it on my IPad Air 2, but since getting my 2020 IPad Pro it’s just a half step out of tune. I don’t know if it’s because of the Pro being locked to 48k instead of 44.1, but other apps , including BASSalicious ver 1 seem fine. Also Pure Synth Platinum has the same issue but seems ok after I switch from the initial preset.
I really hope the developer reads this looks into it.

Amazing quality sound and flexibility
Awesome bass synth that covers a lot of sonic territory! High quality sounds, plenty of presets and really great FX to boot! Definitely worthy of having in your arsenal. Side note, the developer is responsive and fixed a bug that was affecting me personally. Doesn’t get any better than that!

1. Please download the newest version. We have fixed specific issues with the Focusrite hardware. 2. Please note that you can access all of the controls when the keyboard is up by scrolling. You can scroll to see the controls you need.

Downloaded this app yesterday and it is very problematic. Does not continue to play in BM3 when trying to change the sounds. If I could get a refund, believe me I would.

This synth is exactly what it says. I’m having zero issues on my end running the most recent iOS update, on a 11” Pro 256. Works in AUM, Cubasis, Auria, Stagelight, Apematrix, and everything I’ve opened it up in. Seems to be more than a bass synthesis machine as well. I get all types of useful and usable sound out of it. Loving this thing. I purchased it for the introductory price and it’s paid off in dividends! Thank for the updates and for making such a fun to use Audio Unit.

They really put great presets to show off the fine sounds of this machine and the user interface is easy. They threw in insert, bus and master effects racks! Great buy!
