Appreciation and hopes for future
I found this to be an excellent to way to illustrate chords. Very easy to use and very clean interface.
I wish there was one feature though. I’d love to see a version that covered a 5 or even a 6 string bass.
Otherwise, I really think this is an excellent app for practicing just about any cord and variation that you’d want to learn.

Wow, this app is simply fantastic.
This app for learning bass guitar is a real find! The lessons here are not only interesting but also very well-organized, which allows me to progress effectively. Thanks to the variety of styles and techniques you can learn here, I feel like a true musician, ready for any challenge. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to not only play but also fully immerse themselves in the world of bass guitar!

Left handed
I like the app, but it needs to be able to view in left handed mode. I’d change this to a full 5 star review with that feature.

HD Bassman Chords
Truth is, it is worth the money. As a bass player who once was very good, now trying after many years to return to the instrument this is just what the doctor ordered for re-learning useful chord progressions; and all the notes and interplay and relationship of the notes on the 4-string base fret board. Job, well done!

Wonderful bass chords app for reasonable price!
Me and friend of mine have bought Bassman, he and me! Finally we've got an app with good sounding, very beautiful chords and their inversions! Very much thanks to developers for ease of choosing chords from chords picker, you just have to tap chords name in the top bar! Easy to understand! I can also make a modulation of chords- by tapping any note on the fretboard and dragging it. Please make "my favorite chords" system, if it is possible! Good luck!

Disappointed for the price.
As an App dev myself, paying $3.99 brings a good amount of expectations. Specially with musical/training applications - there's are DOZENS of applications out about chords, scales etc… and this one just falls short. The user interface is mediocre at best and it's very clunky in the way you can strum the chords, so the chord key changes often by mistake. There's a good library of chords but frankly, this would be the last place where I would research for chords. There is also a very misleading screenshot that promoted the other apps - which by my own mistake, i thought were "sections" of the app I was purchasing. I mainly bought this app because I did read there was something about "modes" and after hitting buy I realized this was another app by the same developer - which again, was my error, but I find misleading nonetheless the placement of that screenshot.

Needs Work
Although this app has a wealth of chords and a nice variety of neck positions for each, you can't change the perspective of the bass. Would have been nice to change the nut position and/or invert the strings. Without these features the app is not practical and way too expensive.
Bug found
App works, can scroll through the chords, but can't change the key. Stuck in the key of C. iPad 3

This is the most amazing collection of bass chords I have ever seen. It covers all chord types including jazz chords with all the extra additions, and you can easily slide each shape around to transpose to each key.
It also shows you every possibility for each chord type which is helpful for even the most advanced players, but it also is perfect for those just entering the world of bass chords. You can clearly see which fingers to use and also see each note in the chord just by pressing each note.
Another great feature is the ability to strum the chord to replicate how you would play it yourself, but you can also just press play and the chord is played for you. This is perfect for hearing the chord but also for getting the sounds into your head for familiarity. You can also just play individual notes or parts of the chords to hear the extra possible variations.
This really is a necessary learning experience for every bass player and is useful for every style of playing.

Decent chord listing
Great app, with a lot of chords, I wish it had the scales too but they want you to buy another app for that... Expensive too!
No audio at first, audio has a bug. I've uninstalled and reinstalled on my iPad 2 and it still didn't have Audio. And then found the bug for you, as follows... I switched the hardware button setting from "lock rotation" to "mute" and audio started working. I was then able to set the settings back to "lock rotation" again after the audio started working.
