Finally an app that enables adding custom fingerings
This is a dead simple to use app which allows the user to add custom fingerings. This is especially necessary for all woodwinds but especially the bassoon. There are many improvements that could be made to this app but it appears to have been written by a real musician and it gets the job done simply and clearly. Very well done.

Neat app
Good clear graphics. Sensible editing so you can enter your own fingerings. More useful for a new bassonist than an experienced one perhaps. Good as a reminder of the less common notes which is easily accessible whilst playing. I would like it to show trill fingerings (tricky I know). This would make it much more useful. Moving up or down the stave requires fine finger control - an option to + or - a semitone would get over this.

A great pocket reference
Has all the basic fingerings plus plenty of alternates. You can even add your own if you'd like! Easy to navigate with easily readable diagrams. Definitely worth the price!
great tool
Great set of standard fingerings and easy to use. But the best thing about this app is that you can save your OWN fingerings and edit the existing ones making it much more valuable for those eureka moments when you discover a better fingering or short cut fingering for hairy moments. Sliding the screen to get to the right note needs accurate fingers, but hey, as bassoon players we should just use our thumbs and we will be all set! Links to developers site not currently working. A must have for any bassoon player!

Very nicely done--needs more flexibility
Hi Mike,
Nice job with this. But, please allow the user to edit the "standard" fingerings. There is real potential with this app, but to make it useful on a day-to-day basis, I want to be able to arrange things with my preferred fingerings "on top." Next, why not allow indexing by category (trills, fingerings by passage/work, etc.). Looking forward to improvements in vers. 1.0.1!
