About

Batch makes calorie tracking simple. Instead of logging every bite throughout the day, you add what you bought or cooked at the start of the week and Batch figures out your daily calorie budget from there. Scan a barcode, search by name, or photograph your supermarket receipt and let Batch read the items for you. Your calories are shown as a live budget so you always know where you stand. Meal prep, pantry staples, and anything you eat out are all tracked together against one daily goal. If you grab a coffee or eat at a restaurant, log it as a quick extra and Batch folds it in automatically. Pantry staples like olive oil, oats, or rice can be added once and Batch automatically counts them toward your daily total every day. No need to log them again when you start a new prep. Set a daily calorie target, track protein, carbs, and fat alongside it, and carry leftovers into your next prep when you have them.

Scanning and logging are both faster in this update. - Receipts are now read on your device. Scanning is noticeably more accurate, and the photo of your receipt never leaves your phone. - The barcode scanner now stays open as you shop, with a live running total of calories and macros on screen so you can see the basket add up. - Add extra meals on a full screen: search the food database, build a meal from individual ingredients, and watch calories and macros add up as you go. You can also type an ingredient's calories directly. - Adding items by hand and stocking your pantry now open the same full-screen, search-first flow, with results grouped into My Foods and the food database. - Enter weight in the unit that matches the pack: grams, kilograms, ounces, pounds, or by volume in ml, litres, fl oz, pints, quarts, or gallons. - When we have to guess a weight or calorie figure, that field is now highlighted so you know to check it. Editing the field clears the highlight. - Added a privacy control in Settings to opt out of anonymous usage analytics. Plus assorted fixes and polish.
