Pls make it cross platform
Love that you brought this back! No one is ever online for Multiplayer though. I know PC users have a huge advantage, but is there any chance you can make it cross-platform?

It’s a fun challenging game I do wish that there was anyone playing the online but the single player is still great the only thing is that you have to get used to the controls

Great game
But.... This game desperately needs some controller support or at least proper keyboard and mouse support. Especially with my larger iPad Pro control is very awkward. KB/Mouse support at least would make this much more playable if not full game controller support. Not really a big ask in 2023.

Difficult to steer
Used the old PC version which was fantastic. Very disappointed with this version simply because of the controls. How can you maintain direction accurately with a separate jump button?
Needs improvement
I played and still play all and every version ever made of Battlezone and BZ2 since it came out in 1998, you absolutely have to add invert pitch ! Please!. Add inverted pitch to the control settings. Pull back or down to pitch up , push forward or up to pitch down. Also I haven’t checked yet I hope this app version can and will support game controller, or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse ! Too many commands to execute with just touch screen. If you add better control this will be great on iPad . Nice to see if a new generation of gamers will discover this great game though app version!

Just like old times... almost...
Pretty good port, somewhat clunky dual stick controls take a while to get it used to (after coming from mouse and keyboard it’s a step down, but it’s manageable) only thing I’d really complaint about is lack of strat in mp :(
Needs a Better Control Interface
With the PC game that I still play, the controls are the keyboard and mouse. I’ve played this app game “as is” and it’s okay for what it is. It’s a portable watered down version, but the graphics are way better than the original. Also lack of “cheats” and the ability to select the mission you want to play are one way, you have to play though them and then you can go back through the archives. No instant access to the mission you want to try.

Short version: This game needs MFi controller support badly. We can tap the screen for other activations but sticks and buttons have got to be turned on. Like. Now, please.

Great port of one of the best rts/FPS hybrids. Needs mfi!!!
This is an excellent port. It’s only big flaw is the lack of mfi support, which is crazy when the controls are just virtual sticks. Please add mfi support asap!

Breakthrough Classic
Played this one back when it first came out and loved the feeling of "what is going to come over the horizon next". A review back then compared steering the craft in the game to driving a garbage truck on ice, but I think it adds an extra dimension that would be missing from the space sim if the controls were too precise. I have both the desktop and iPad version, the desktop hardness settings don't seem to work and this old gamer could not get past the first level, iPad settings work just fine and am fully enjoying despite no controller support. Very well done!

-Needs to be manual fire mode not just auto
-Would love to see more multiplayer capabilities like recyclers
-Please add support for wireless controller
-Allow option of "jump" on right side of screen
