About

Your bookshelf remembered everything. You didn't. The books you've read, underlined, started, stacked — and what you actually retain of them. Bayan closes that gap: between what you know and what you live. Because knowledge isn't meant to be stored. It's meant to bring you closer to Allah. FLEE HEEDLESSNESS — IN UNDER TEN MINUTES A hundred verses sounds like a mountain. Here's what no one told you: it can take less than ten minutes. Tell Bayan the time you have, and it offers you a passage that fits. Ten minutes you already have — reclaimed from heedlessness. The Quran module is free for life: Bayan provides no text — it's your own mushaf you annotate, your tafsir attached to the verses, your reading plan that remembers where you are. No institute near you, no teacher available? Your books are already there. THE METHOD OF THE STUDENTS OF KNOWLEDGE One book at a time, from beginning to end. Revision before novelty. Consistency before quantity. Bayan structures it for you, so that knowledge shapes you. THE SCHOLARS, ONE QUESTION AWAY Your paper books are the books of the scholars. Photograph a page: the text comes alive — underline, annotate, nothing gets lost. And the day you wonder "which book was that in, again?", just ask: their books answer you. REMINDERS TO YOURSELF What you don't review, you lose again — that's not a flaw, it's a law. Bayan turns it in your favour: your annotations come back for you, your striking passages become revision, and the widget brings your reading to your home screen. The reminder benefits the believers — starting with the one you send yourself. SEE YOUR GAPS, THEN FILL THEM Bayan organises your books by the pillars of faith and creed — aqidah first, because the foundation is what every Muslim must acquire. At a glance: what your reading nourishes, and what it neglects. It's not a ranking, it's a mirror — and every gap made visible becomes a reading plan. PLAY, IN THE SERVICE OF CONSISTENCY Flashcards, podium, streaks: the play isn't there to distract you — it's there so you come back tomorrow. Consistency is more beloved than intensity, and Bayan is built on that idea. And unfinished books resume exactly where you left off. HIFZ — THE 20/20 MADINAH METHOD Memorise the Quran with the 20/20 method, the one from Madinah — section by section, repetition before progress. Track your progress, revise what weakens. No pressure, no counter that judges. FROM DEAD TIME TO USEFUL TIME When Fajr O'Clock opens the window between fajr and sunrise, Bayan offers you your reading and shows you the time you have left. When Basirah notices a dip in your muhasaba, "Revive my wonder" draws on the themes that concern you. Three apps, one day — and the rarest minutes no longer go to waste. BY VOICE, WITHOUT HUNTING FOR THE ICON Siri, Spotlight, Control Centre: resume your reading, note your page, find an annotation, check your hifz — without opening the app. BETWEEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS Reminding is something we are asked to do — and it benefits both hearts. Bayan turns it into a gesture: you choose a passage for someone, seal it, address it, date it. A reminder prepared with intention for one person, not thrown onto the internet. And if they have Bayan too, the exchange comes alive: you see when your envelope is opened, their reaction comes back to you, gratitude flows both ways. Free and paid. The Quran module and one personal book of your choice are free, forever. The subscription opens the unlimited library and advanced study tools — for the price of one paper book a month. No free trial that turns into a surprise charge: you choose, you stop whenever you want. Privacy. Your books, annotations and progress stay on your device. sakina.day/bayan

What's New in Bayan

1.0.9

August 9, 2026

Bayan no longer works alone. This version connects Bayan to Fajr O'Clock and Basirah: three apps, one day. After fajr. When Fajr O'Clock opens the window between fajr and sunrise, Bayan offers you your reading — and shows you how much time is left before shuruq while you read. The window closes on its own: nothing to set, nothing to schedule. When the heart feels heavy. If Basirah notices a dip in your muhasaba, "Revive my wonder" draws on the themes that concern you, instead of picking at random. Ten shortcuts, by voice or by gesture. Resume your reading, note your page, find an annotation, open a reminder or a section, check your hifz — without opening the app. Bayan answers Siri. Your annotations, flashcards, books, reminders, Quran sections and hifz progress are now indexed: Siri and Spotlight find them, Apple Intelligence can draw on them, and your shortcuts chain with those of Fajr O'Clock and Basirah.
