What's New in Basirah
1.0.9
August 5, 2026
Basirah joins the sakina.day ecosystem Your apps now talk to each other — discreetly, and without anything ever leaving your device. Fajr O'Clock: Finish your muḥāsaba after sunset, and Fajr O'Clock will know — adjusting your alarm for the next day accordingly. Bayan: When the heart goes through a low point, Basirah shares the themes of your recent muḥāsaba so Bayan can offer a fitting wonder. And if Bayan is installed, your daily review will gently suggest when a moment of wonder might help. Privacy first: Only keywords and dates travel between apps — never the actual content of your deeds. Everything stays on device. Furthermore, Basirah will never suggest an app you don't already have installed. Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight Three actions accessible without opening the app, using natural language: “Log an act in Basirah” — record a deed to review, using your voice. “How is my heart doing with Basirah” — a summary of your heart's state, spoken by Siri. “Heart advice in Basirah” — guidance to soften the heart, whenever you need it. Find these shortcuts in Spotlight and the Shortcuts app, featuring new icons and tiles styled in Basirah’s custom color. Ready for Apple Intelligence These actions are built to harness next-generation Siri: as Apple Intelligence expands across apps, Basirah will be ready — same phrases, richer context, always on-device.
