What's New in Bazefield
1.4.6
October 14, 2026
A major update: the app has been redesigned from the ground up. Home, Sites, Alarms and Map tabs give you a quicker overview of your portfolio, and the menu takes you to Availability, Settings and your favourite and recent sites. New features • Home: total power against rated capacity, running and available assets, sites with communication issues, and a Needs attention list of problem sites and the highest-priority alarms. • Alarms: the active alarms for all your sites in one place. Search, filter by category or asset, sort by newest, oldest or priority, and group by category or asset. • Map: your sites, with pins coloured by operating state. Tap a site to see its output and asset status, tap a group to zoom in on nearby sites, and use the locate button to centre the map on your position. • Availability: time-based and production-based availability, actual and lost production, and losses by allocation category for the last seven days. • Asset details now include a 24-hour active power chart, and show when an asset is curtailed, restricted or in maintenance, or has a scheduled stop, a performance issue or a condition monitoring alert. • Search sites, search and filter assets by state, and star your favourite sites. • Energy storage (BESS) sites are now shown alongside wind, solar and hydro sites. • Add several Bazefield servers and switch between them in Settings. Each server keeps its own sign-in, favourites and recent sites. • Now available in English, Norwegian (Bokmål), Swedish, Finnish, German, French and Spanish. Choose your language in Settings, along with a region format for dates, times and numbers. Improvements • Choose a Light, Dark or System theme in Settings. • If you lose your connection, the app keeps showing the last loaded data. You stay signed in if you open the app offline or while the server is unavailable. • A refreshed sign-in page shows which server you're signing in to, with updated Microsoft and Okta buttons. • Requests are retried automatically after brief connection drops, and refreshing pauses while the app is in the background. • Features your Bazefield server doesn't support are hidden instead of showing errors. • Long alarm descriptions can be expanded, and icons and progress bars have been refreshed. • The app now sends anonymous crash reports and performance data so problems can be found and fixed faster. Fixes • Fixed several crashes, including after failed server requests and while lists were refreshing. • Wind and solar sites are no longer hidden on Bazefield 12.5 and later, and site status now matches the Portal. • Dates are no longer shown as 01/01/1970, and asset cards no longer show negative durations. • Autocorrect no longer changes the server address or username. • Clearer messages when a server can't be found or signing in fails. Requires iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later.
