What's New in Bazu

2.1.4

August 28, 2026

• The spike reading on a scan is now the worse of the two things it measures, the carb load and the peak of the predicted curve. A meal that peaks high no longer reads gentle just because the rest of the plate softens it. • Small portions of dense whole foods score the way they actually behave. A few almonds, a square of dark chocolate or a small bowl of popcorn no longer take a full-size penalty. • Listing the oil you cooked with no longer counts that fat twice on top of what the recipe already assumes. • Your 30-day score now weighs each meal by its size and each day by how recent it is, so one small snack no longer moves your month like a dinner. The trend compares your last 30 days against the 30 before them. • You can now leave the Plus screens straight to the free plan instead of only closing them. • Fixes: an added sugar card that read "over" above an empty progress bar, and the "usually" amounts on your nutrition snapshot settling after two days of logging instead of two weeks.

Amazing!

Amazing tool to be conscious of what you are eating. My favorite part is the camera feature, it works incredibly well with home cooked meals, super helpful!!!!!

Finally a glucose app that is fun and just works!

I’ve tried several glucose tracking apps and this one stuck. Logging data takes seconds and the charts actually make it essy to spot patterns. The interface is simple, fast and actually super fun. The app makes the daily routine genuinely easier. Love Bazu!

The best app

So I found this app on Facebook so glad I did I love how I can see the curve with my Glucose levels and how it connects directly to Dexcom G7 10 day sensor, I’m so glad to have this app because it helps me know ahead of time what my numbers will look like after a certain time frame. I already recommend the app to my sister since she told me she also is trying to eat healthier.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind review! We're so glad Bazu is helping you see what's coming before you eat, and it's great to hear your Dexcom readings are flowing in through Apple Health. Thank you for passing it along to your sister too. Spike less, live more!

The score is what sold me

My breakfast was scoring in the 40s. Switched to something in the 80s and I stopped getting sleepy by mid morning. That's it, that's the whole app for me, but there’s much more. Really cool.

Response from developer

Thank you for the awesome review! We're so glad the score made the difference clear, and that a higher scoring breakfast has been working out for you. That swap is exactly what we built Bazu for, and there's plenty more in there whenever you want it. Spike less, live more!

The curve is great

I scan stuff before I eat it and it shows the curve I'd get. flat line vs a big rise, choice is obvious. it also stacks all my meals into one curve for the whole day which i didn't expect. really good app.

Response from developer

Thank you for the great review! We're thrilled the curve makes the choice obvious before you eat, and the full day view is one of our favorite parts too. Scanning first is exactly how we hoped Bazu would be used. Spike less, live more!
