The best of this type of app, worth the price

I am enjoying using the paid version of this app, it’s useful and suitable for my needs. I like the pay once for full app, I am not interested in an annual or monthly subscription fee. I love all of the features it currently includes.

I do however have a Wishlist for app upgrade or additional features, willing to purchase (one time fee) at a pay-for-upgrade option (then people who wouldn’t want these features don’t need to buy the upgrade):
1. I would like, similar to Wishlist to Shopping Bag, a list where I could move products to automatically when finished/empty, rather than deleting the item. I am currently tracking my use of products (mostly for allergy/sensitive skin reaction purposes). I don’t want to delete, because I may need to later reference. It’s also useful to gauge how well liked or useful a product has been.
2. I would like a way to mark or list products for Project Pan goals, I know there’s the Notes feature within a product, but I mean a whole separate list area for Project Pan participation or the Project Pan timeline goal/specific intention. Project Pan is a fun online beauty community event. It would be great if this app included features that would help track Project Pan details.

Great

This app has exactly what I need: a way to organize makeup and skincare with expiration dates and the ability to have pictures.
I only wish there were more brands because half my skincare brands are missing.

Hi, thanks for the wonderful feedback, we are glad that you liked the app! If a brand is missing from the list, you can add it manually - when you add a product and select a brand, just click the button in the upper right corner 😉

Barcode?

I purchased the 5.99 upgrade and nothing changed. Still no barcode scanner. Can’t add things to wish or shopping list.
ETA
The search function doesn’t work if you click it then the app crashes. When I click on a category I made it crashes. I paid for the extra but it literally didn’t change the app. I literally can’t search it doesn’t work. Crashes upon clicking the magnifying glass. I took a little video of what’s happening.

You can add cosmetics to your wishlist using a swipe or a plus button, to shopping list - only using a swipe on wishlist item. All functionality is available for free by default. Barcodes were temporarily removed from the app because our partner let us down, and we don't have a budget for finding a new one yet. However, barcodes were available without purchasing an app. The purchase description says that you remove the restriction on added cosmetics and support us.

Good app

Occasional crashes and the “opened” button doesn’t always respond when adding a new product (I just scroll to the bottom of the add page and it works but it’s kinda annoying) but otherwise a well designed app that’s easy to use. The full version is just under $9 which is a bit pricy but I believe with some further improvement it would be fair :) Keep it up!

App with promise

I enjoyed organizing my makeup and beauty items on the app, but I echo the sentiments of other reviewers hav voiced: (1) the barcode scanner does not work; and (2) while you can add custom brands, there is no way to delete them, for example, if you made a typo or added a duplicate by using slightly different spelling (e.g. Lancôme v. Lancome). A feature I think could make this app even better could be to include an “archive” category for items that have been used up, may not be a favorite, but could be useful to remember, like foundation shades.

Barcode Scanner doesn’t work

Even after I paid for the “full version” the barcode scanner doesn’t work. Not worth it! If I wanted to hand key lot numbers and brand information I would have gone with a free app.

What??

Perhaps I misunderstood but I was under the impression I would be able to scan a barcode and the app would input the product information. NOT THE CASE. I scanned over 60 eyeshadow palettes and contd. to see “product not found”. I have an Excel spreadsheet for my MAC eyeshadows that’s more convenient for keeping inventory. What’s the purpose of this app? To create a database for the developer? No thanks.

Exactly what I was looking for

This app is awesome I love that you can add your own photos because it means I can add my items from indie brands or discontinued items from my collection. There are a few improvements I would love to see though. I would like a notes section under each item. The ability to add multiple pictures so I can have one of the product in pan, one swatch, and one of it applied would be a huge improvement. It could also use a line for pallet name as I am tracking all of my shades individually, it would also be nice to be able to move the lists around manually so I could set up all of my eyeshadows by colour. And there is no subcategory for setting sprays under makeup. Overall this app is awesome and has tons of potential. Oh it would also be nice if the button for the full version disappeared after you purchase it.

Issues lately

I’ve had this app since I saw it “advertised” or mentioned in r/beauty I believe, and I even said I’d give feedback later as I’ve used it. So I guess I finally will. I really like the app and am still slowly inputting more items. And lately I’ve been having issues w/ the app not allowing my to add additional items, I upload a phot, input the info, but the “Done” button is unavailable. Have I reached some max or is this an issue, bug, whatever else?

Edit: I figured out the issue, for the item name, the app won’t recognize the word bow w/o more characters.

Why can’t I add a custom brand if it’s not supported?

Tarte is not a small indie brand, but it’s not available on this app so unfortunately a no-go right away. There are so many makeup brands these days, really doesn’t make sense to limit it like this.

Edit: Developer responded, the way to add a brand to the list was easy to miss. The app is usable with that functionality. However, I still have to enter every single product completely manually, I found a different tool that at least has some products in the database which sped up the process considerably.

You can create any brand on the brand selection page when adding a product. Do we really deserve such a low rating?

Needs more but best one so far

I had been looking for a way to create an inventory type of list for my makeup and this one is the best one I could find. Love that it lets you add categories and shows you the picture of the item. However one thing I wish it had was an option to put how many of one item you have. I often stock up on eyebrow pencils when they’re on sale and have a lot of repeat items I’ve gotten from subscriptions so that would be a neat feature.

On The fence

Just downloaded app, I add 1 product to makeup, but now I cannot figure out how to add more products to makeup, so I added one to face care and the same thing cannot figure out how to add more to face care.

You just need to click the Add button at the bottom of the main screen and select any category.

A few tweaks til perfection

I’m really enjoying this app so far! I only have two main things I’d like to see added.

1. Possibility to add more photos/swatches. I’d like to remember how certain colors look on me.

2. A way to view all of my stuff on one page.

Other than that, really great! Thanks so much for making it.

Great app!

I’m happy that’s it’s super quick and easy to keep track of my makeup. My last app I had to delete so I’m psyched I found a new one. The only thing i feel it should have is someone to put the price of the makeup. I like to keep track of how much items are and how much my collection costs in total. That would be the only thing to keep me from keeping this. Great app though besides that

Please add more brands to the brands list!

Please add more brands, half of my collection can’t be added because the brand isn’t listed and I cant add it to my list. Missing brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tarte, Colourpop, Huda Beauty, Becca Cosmetics, Natasha Denona, Kylie Cosmetics, and more. Very sad to see I can’t add most of my stuff because of this. Please add more brands or make an option to type the brand out yourself!

Organization

I love that you can organize your collection in one tab and use the wish list to organize future things you see. I hope in the future they’ll have a function similar to elfster or the like where you can input the link directly or it will interact with the web and search so I don’t have to type the film product name and put my own picture

Great app

This app has been great in helping me keep track of when I should change out my mascara and eyeliner but it's not just limited to those items.

If you're anything like me and have more makeup than you can keep track of, this is the app for you. I'm really keen on tracking and organization so it's been really helpful to see my collection inventoried.

I'd love a barcode scanning feature or something of the like to add in product info and some pictures in app to help people recognize batch codes.

This is probably the first app I’ve seen that allows me to organize my makeup in such an efficient and easy way. I love simple and easy to work it is! Only suggestion would be maybe have a way to see shades of makeup?
