Difficult App
Changes to watch live news is more and more difficult
Why do the subtitles not work in the app?
Subtitles don’t appear on videos in the app on an iPhone 16 Pro. The subtitles work fine in the browser. In the app, no subtitles, but if I swipe the video window away, it displays the subtitle that should have been on the screen in that still-frame thumbnail image. So, subtitles are available but just not rendered on the screen when the video is played in the app.

Kicked me out.
Apparently I’m too young. It was working fine until today! I understand but can I at least have a warning?! Still, very good app with good cartoons and shows for all sorts of ages.
AMAZING
best invention ever
Wonderful TV Series and Music
I adore the BBC who recently broadcast a wonderful Proms 2026 season via BBC Radio 3 (which each and every day gives listeners excellent music and live concerts from around the world) while the BBC News, and entertaining series are truly amazing and inspiring and entertaining! Thank you BBC!
BBC at its best
I love the BBC, it’s a brilliant organisation. iPlayer is easy to negotiate and easy to use. Would recommend all day long.
iPLayer service
This is, by a country mile, the best streamed service in the world.
The same can be said for the entire BBC SERVICE. No other broadcaster in the world comes close.

PG
Excellent
Cosy British TV at your fingertips
Bring back good old fashioned cosy British TV.
Fabulous documentaries
Very well constructed documentary giving info from many disclipines
A Joke!!!
You have to pay for a licence to watch and it’s now absolute rubbish. Slow to load if it does at all. They are bias in their commentary and employ people who are not properly vetted. They should be subject to proper commercial forces.
LUDWIG
Brilliantly written and characters are superbly cast. David Mitchell is the only one who could play the title.
Viewing freedom
Ability to view own selection, skip, repeat, pause, to suit one’s own schedule.
Waterloo Road
Because I love there episodes and how I watch them over and over again
