The app is ok but….

The BBC just seems to be a spokesperson for the government and its support for left wing agendas. No longer critical or credible in so many ways.

Good lunch time reading!!

BBC news and my news always good for a daily catch-up when having my lunch or afternoon tea!

Account needed now

I used the BBC News app for a number of years, and got all my news from it. Sadly, they have now decided to require a sign up, so I have deleted the app. AP, RTE and France24 are still free and open to use without an account, so I’ve moved there. Goodbye BBC.

BBC news!!

I love this app for when I can’t be bothered to get the newspapers from the shop. It tells you everything I need to know and gives me more than information. It gives me people’s life stories and more!!

Political Reporting

I mainly enjoy the app however I feel the political reporting is heavily biased towards the Reform Party at the expense of the Conservative. Liberal Democrats and Green parties,

Anti-Semitism

You have an article on the rise of anti-semitism in several countries and another article on settlers raiding Palestinian homes but no connection is made!!!

Woke reporting

Use of woke photos to satisfy woke agenda

Excellent

It’s the only news for me and I’ve watched others.

Why was most popular news removed from default?

Poor

The most poorly laid out news app out there is. Absolutely atrocious.

Excellent but short attention span

The breadth and depth of news coverage is excellent and fully justifies the licence fee,
I am regularly frustrated by the speed at which topics disappear when there isn’t a clickbait headline e,g, Ukraine, Gaza and Sudan. There must be reporters in these places and they are war zones with massive events happening continually. I understand that these will be lower down the search list, however they seem to often be non existent. The same seems to be true for global warming, despite the current wildfires and heatwaves making it easy to relate to.

News?

Awful

My opinion

The news isn’t refreshed often enough and the football section is al about the premiership and not the rest of the English leagues.

Biased

Getting more biased by the day and publishing what their political agenda narrative prefers.

Top news channel

I always consider the BBC News to be accurate and impartial.

Couldn’t do without it

Always there when you need to know what is going on

The Truth Verified Everyday

No doubt, it’s the best

Bias News Reports

You are supposed to be neutral in your reporting but you are far from that & I think it is disgusting that I have to pay to see your blatant lies & far from being neutral news channel 🤬🤬

Death

I don’t won’t to know every day of which celeb is dying

Navigation

I find it difficult to navigate to the topic I want. Sometimes if I log in through chrome it’s better navigation than the app.
When I log on I just want to find major headlines then Northern Ireland news then football. I want to find football scores and line ups and who scored fast in each league and that is hard to do. Then I want some generic sport and entertainment news. This could be faster.
