Can’t stop tuning in to you’re dead to me, very enjoyable listening and I’m finding out so much stuff from history, admittedly forgetting as much as I’m learning but great fun!!! The series on Vikings also is brilliant..Well done!!
Good app
This is probably one of the apps I use the most, I use it every day, multiple times. The latest update seems to have a new feature whereby you see a huge photo on your lock screen. This obscures the time which is a dealbreaker for me. I look at my phone multiple times as I need to know the time and now I can’t when I’m listening to BBC Sounds. Please revert back or make the picture smaller so that we can still see the time on our phones? I would have given 5 stars but this takes the app down a notch

Could be better
I find the website tooo full of stuff, no order, all the bbc radio mixed, spaguetti bolognese style, at last I found a podcast of interest, if I want to listen 2podscast and put timer, it is not so intuitive.
Drama/audiobooks
The episodes are not always under the title together and it is very frustrating to only be able to listen to part of a story you might only get episodes 3-7 when there are 10 in total for example.

The UI & Everything is amazing when you know how to use it which is genuinely easy as heck.

Broadcasting House
Paused program for a few minutes. Has jumped to the end now and can’t get on catch up. Poor service
4 xtra has no sound again
So fed up with this app. Today was listening to programmes and the audio just cut out of all channels and all programmes. Tried to fix but bbc suggestions are ridiculous and very patronising.

The reader of this novel was so talented that I was transported into the story totally. It was a wonderful experience. Since then I have read two more George Eliot books. Thank you for the inspiration!
Cutting off when screen is locked
I love this app. One of my favourites, but since the last update, play stops as soon as my screen locks. This didn’t used to happen! The only way to listen now is to keep my phone unlocked which feels a bit risky. Please could you fix!! Thank you
Suggestion
I absolutely love listening to bbc sounds and enjoy a good decent radio documentary or program.
I wish there was a place where I could save my favourite shows so I can easily share them with people or share my own playlists.

Used to be good..
But not anymore. I try to listen to post match comments while walking home from the pub and it constantly drops out. I reboot my phone it works for a while then does it again. I changed to a competitor where the problem doesn’t exist. Such a shame,this didn’t use to happen.
Brilliant Stuff
The BBC is the home of everything good and great about music. It’s not cutting edge and is sometimes late to the party, but if you want to listen to anything in style, genre and content Auntie Beeb has it covered.

Restarts after pausing
Great app that I’ve used for many years but like others I’m now having trouble with it restarting episodes whenever I pause and unpause.

With the depth and wealth of well-written, directed and acted material available from the archives, why are there quite so many second-rate adaptations of third-rate productions in R4 Extra. No question mark required as this is a rhetorical query.
