Used to be good but not now.
This app used to be great. Giving the rundown on films & what it contains.
Now for some reason, it won’t set up & NEEDS a person’s location? Something is not right! It should give film information as before without the BS 😡

Location Services?
Apparently, you can no longer use the app unless you allow location services. So it is now literally useless to me :-(
helpful guide to figuring out if things are appropriate for certain people
thanks because I am not allowed to play explicit games on console or mobile except thers no guide to moblie game age ratings
Under The Rainbow (1981) Is Needed To Be 12
I Heard On The Film’s Trailer At Apple TV That A Black Woman Was Chasing Two Men On A Cart With Something That Probably Belongs To Her. While She Is Chasing She Says Two Single Uses Of Strong Language In Her Sentences.
This Film Has To Be 12 Because Of That Scene & Of Course It Is Classified PG On Apple TV.
Another Thing: Cool Hand Luke (1967) Was Mistakenly Rated PG On Apple TV Even Though It Is Classified 15 On The Website & On Home Video. Can You Ask Apple TV To Re-Rate The Apple TV Version From PG To 15 Please?
Also: Bandolero! (1968) Needs To Be Re-Classified From 15 To 12 Because It Has Moderate Violence. Moderate Violence Is Suitable For PG & 12 But Does “Bandolero!” (1968) Have Too Much Moderate Violence? The Same Question Goes For “Suicide Squad” (2016).

BBFC app no longer shows content advice for some media.
This is an overall good app, however after updating content advice for some types of media, such as video games, is no longer viewable. It would be nice to have access to the content advice available again.
Re-Update the app
Please BBFC re-update the app! When I open the app it still doesn't connect to your web server! Instead there's a warning! Please re-update it right now!!!!! :)
Disappointing
Old version was great ,now I can’t get past the set up despite having compatible I pad .
Useless...
Used to be a handy app to quickly search films but since the update, I have not been able to get past “location”. I don't want to know which cinemas are near me, I just want to know which movies are age appropriate for my children. Disappointed because unable to use. I would have rated with no stars.

Helpful for families
This app is very helpful for film nights with my partner. Gives good advice for families, and also very easy to use and navigate.
Used to be great now it want location data
This app used to be great for getting detailed info on age ratings especially with the insight section for many films old and new. Now it seems that they want to sell cinema tickets and I can no longer get into the app without allowing access to my location. This isn’t the lucrative wittertainment app!
To the BBFC: please stick to your remit. You classify films and you do it so well. Don’t ruin your app and reputation.

X - Suitable for No One
You took an app that worked well and redesigned it so that it’s value became reduced. I used to routinely look up all kinds of classifications on here. Now, it’s hard to find what you want. And you can’t get passed not allowing Location Services. You have to allow and turn it off later. You might examine films but no one examined this properly.

Really
Ok so
I love this app
If i ever wanna know what rating a movie or tvshow is, i check this clever little app
I Don't Get It!
Ooh, I wonder what certificate Cinderella is, it comes out in the cinema tomorrow? Let me open the BBFC app to find out. What's this? the app doesn't have a comprehensive list of films? only a select few that are currently out?
What's the point when the BBFC website will tell you everything?

Crashing app!
I think this would be a most useful app but sadly it doesn't work crashes as soon as I open it, so totally useless
RUBBISH
Crashes everytime! Useless!
Crashes every time on loading...
...so the quality of the data in this app is a bit immaterial as it's completely inaccessible. Until fixed, avoid.
Not as good as it used to be
Can't seem to search for many TV shows or films that have been rated by the BBFC.
Where's the rest?
Decent app, but why are only new and recent releases viewable? One of my pet peeves is an app that offers less than the website equivalent. Makes it seem lazy and a tad irrelevant.
I.O.S
This is a great app to Check for movie ratings and trailers but when I open the app and search for a movie the app glitches and take me back to the home screen.
