Great potential
This app has the opportunity to be very helpful, but it fails at doing so.
While searching for providers it will constantly bring up either all the clinics within our state or say there are no providers in our network. It is frustrating!
It would be nice if you could search for a treatment and you would receive providers names who actually offer that treatment in their office.
The app is great if you want to see your claims.

An app that can’t be used
Can’t even log in. App directs you to the website to log in and then… you can’t.

Unable to log in after 30 minutes of trying. It takes forever to get the passcode to my email, will not let me get passcode via text and does not send the passcode to the email address that is verified on my account. I’m unable to get into the app because it will not allow me to agree to the terms and every time I refresh to try to accept the terms, it logs me all the way back out. The app does not work. The website is slow. Customer service is no help. Just another shining example of the amazing US healthcare system. Multibillion dollar company but can’t even make logging in simple or even possible for customers.

Two factor authentication
Whenever I use this app, it wants to send me a security code, but will only email it because it says there is no phone number on file. I get logged in, check in my profile settings, lo and behold, my phone number is still there like it always is!

Last phone call assistant needs an immediate raise, VERY PROFESSIONAL, helpful, kind, considerate, and very patient! She’s the Best, I see her as a person to be training others to treat customers the way she does!!!
App Doesn’t Work
Like a few of the other reviews, it is asking me to verify my account with my email but I never receive any codes they claim they sent. It’s a shame, an app would be helpful.
Incredibly limited and finicky
This app has the potential to be great. I like that you can do a fingerprint verification, but it constantly fails, and/or isn’t an option half the time without rhyme or reason. Their password requirements are pretty intense compared to most, so I can never remember my BCBS password, so when the fingerprint verification isn’t enabled, and I get locked out after just a couple of failed attempts and have to call to have it unlocked, it’s highly frustrating.
Also, why doesn’t BCBS use this app to expand options to its customer base similar to other insurance companies? My dental insurance app and FSA app let me upload receipts for processing and let me check the status. These are not even new options with these other insurance companies, but ones that have been in place for several years. It’s incredibly frustrating that BCBS does not allow you to submit claims electronically - not even on their website. About 25% of the claims I mail in get lost and I have to submit via mail 2 - 3x each. Letting me submit electronically would not only be far more efficient for me, but for the claims processors as well. Please step it up to the current times and catch up a bit, BCBS.

Wont let me in
This app won’t let me log in. It keeps saying my user name/password are incorrect. I try to reset my password and it keeps saying it can’t send me a txt to verify my acct.
It working
I have had the app on my phone for a few months now all of a sudden it wants me to verify my email but I never receive an email when I click the send email link. I did t have to many issues with the app now I can’t get it to work at all so frustrated

Can’t see claims
The main reason to even have this app is to view claims. 99% of the time when I open this app it can not display my claims. Try again later it says. This makes it useless.
Excellent app to compliment excellent insurance!
App is straight forward and easy to use. BCBS offers excellent coverage with five star customer service!
Non-functional
DL’d app, created account, followed verification link, proceeded to login... and “username/password not recognized”. Attempt to reset password, await 6 digit code in email... no email. Call tech support. Pleasantly resets password. I enter temp login... little house floats up on my screen for half a second. Hope. Screen returns to login. No hope. “username/password not recognized”, threatening “too many login attempts will lock my account”. Retype new password. Hit login. App blinks right back to the login screen. F this.

Need help...
I downloaded the app to be able to carry my fitness card on my phone. When I go to the fitness program tab the screen is black. I just downloaded the app 10 minutes ago.

Basically Useless
This app is basically useless unless all you want to use it for is to get a temporary ID card or a contact number. There was no data about claims, spending, or benefits. You can't look up providers or policy limits.
