Useless for Algal Bloom Report
Useless app for reports on Algal Bloom as advertised on the website. There is big blue button in the app for the report but clicking on it does nothing. Please invest more in better app development

Lack of Face ID authentication is really annoying
Asking for my password every time I use the app is stopping me from using it.

Can’t access app
Whenever I try opening the Beachsafe app, It stays on the loading screen forever. I can’t access the contents of the app at all. This has been an issue for the past two months. I’m unsure if it is just my device but if it is how can I fix it? Please help

Great info on beach conditions
I have been using the app for a few years and always check out the beach info before I head out. Recently though, the beach I visit the most and I had marked as a Favourite has gone. It is Blacks Beach at Barrack Point and is patrolled by Council lifeguards. Are they no longer included in this app?
Needs an overhaul
I used to rely on this app for up to date information.
The search no longer works correctly. It doesn’t even know where Manly beach is.

Incorrect beach closure info
I’m looking for an app that has current beach conditions in Sydney which is says this app does. I’m sitting on Long Reef beach next to a big Beach Closed sign, while the app says the beach is open. Not very useful if it isn’t actually up to date.

Information is incorrect - currently standing at a beach you have as open which is definitely closed and has been since this morning - glad it’s walking distance
Not accurate
This would be fabulous if I could trust it! When it’s wrong it just makes everything harder, rather than easier.
New version is absolutely useless
This used to be my goto app before I went to the beach, now it’s useless. There are “warnings” but no link to see what they are. The tide chart has no time of day, just heights.

Super useful app
It’s a really useful app to save time when wanting to go to the beach: you know the wind, shark notices, wether the beach is closed to COVID over population etc.
Useless update
Why change what was working well? Your current update has ruined a perfectly good app - not interested in how many people are on the beach or in the water but do need at a glance, an overview of the day in clearly understood charts which you had before the update. The current charts, especially wind, are clunky and the wind chart especially, illegible.

Was decent until the latest update
Please revert back to the previous forecast of swell/ wind and weather charts. The new format is messy and hard to read. Stupid idea whoever came up with and approved this
No real-time information
No updates beach location information provided. My current beach is closed yet the app indicates still patrolled. Would be better if integrated with BOM so as to have current warnings linked to updated weather warnings.

I use this app everyday, is is great.
Although sometimes it isn’t up to date. For example it might say the beach is open when it is actually closed. It also lacks live information from the beach, such as conditions, hazards etc.
