About

Your plans are not the product. I built Beacon because I wanted to hang out with my friends without wondering how much of my data was being shared with advertisers. So Beacon keeps it simple: your live location is never stored, nothing is ever sold, and there are no ads or trackers. Just real-time plans with your friends, privately. Drop a Beacon. Pick a place and a time, and your group plan goes live instantly. No 47-message group chat spiral, no "wait, where are we meeting", just one clear signal everyone can see. Rally your people. Invite friends already on Beacon, pull in contacts who aren't yet, or send a link. Everyone RSVPs in one tap and sees exactly who's in. Move together. Once a Beacon is live, see who's on their way and who's arrived, no need to text "omw" or "here" ever again. If the plan changes location, everyone's notified automatically. Talk in the moment. Every Beacon has its own Hang Chat, a group chat that exists just for that plan, so the conversation doesn't get lost in your regular messages. Share photos as you go, and they land in that Beacon's Memory afterward. Import an event in a tap. Got a flyer, screenshot, or link for something happening tonight? Beacon reads the details and turns it into a Beacon you can invite people to. Private by design. Beacon shows your live position to no one, not even your friends. What people see is your estimated arrival time and status (On My Way, Here), computed on your device. Beacons disappear a day after they end, along with their chat and photos. Beacon is built for the plans that used to die in a group chat: dinner tonight, a walk in the park, who's coming to the show. Drop the pin. Rally the group. Move together.
