New Firmware Required to Beam
I recently started getting a message when attempting to load a gif to my Beam informing me that I needed to download new firmware for it to load. Rather than using the original Apple App Store for the update, a web site is provided. The firmware appears to download into my iPad, but then nothing opens, and no instructions. My Beam has been made completely useless.

Broken
Bricked my machine and also consistently crashes. Under the assumption that the company has ceased operations as no support can be found for app or hardware. Buyer beware
DOES NOT WORK
App immediately crashes when attempting to pair my Beam to my iPad. Do not waste your money on this failure.

Cool product. Crap app. Will be their downfall. App has always been terrible, but now it crashes on 3 diff iPhones tested when going into settings to pair the button. Makes it useless. Get your app devs crap together.
Great Button, terrible app
This app does not behave consistently. Erasing the device doesn’t work, beaming graphics to the device isn’t consistent and even worse you have to be connected to the internet before it works! How am I supposed to load graphics on the plane to a trade show? Why is it impossible to select slideshows?

Won’t pair with my Beam
Looks like this version won’t pair with my Beam. I can see it in the pairing screen but when I tap nothing happens :( Help!
Frustrating
This is a cool device, however, the app is incredibly glitchy. Plus, I downloaded a GIF from the Beam app and it broke my Beam. It froze it. Then it wouldn’t let me delete it. My Beam continued to have freezing issues.
I finally got the GIF deleted, but it keeps coming back! Now, my Beam won’t even pair. The app appears frozen. I have rebooted, deleted and reinstalled. Repeatedly. Nothing works. For a $100 device, this is more than disappointing.

Would have been 5 stars if allowed to import your own gif file.
Cool product but iPhone X issues
Really like the product. Super easy to use. However slideshows do not work with iPhone X. You simply cannot drag photos to create one. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.
Pretty cool
You can design buttons on your phone and wear them?!? Cool! I love the concept and I hope that the app will see improvements. I would like to be able to delete batches of “beams” at once. I’d like to be able to use my own GIFs. I’d like to see how much space remains on my Beam Authentic tic device (it seems to fill quickly).

Cool product but the app is slow and buggy
I’ve had a good bit of trouble with the app losing connection or having errors when transferring files to the Beam. It also crashes frequently. The Beam itself is a nice device, but is limited by the app. Once a file on my Beam didn’t finish copying over and it took me several hours to get my Beam working properly again.
I’d really like the ability to add custom made gif’s not just those found on Giphy.

This app is awesome! It is a creative and engaging way to show your friends and the world what you care about through unique art and customizable postings. Also the button is really nice, light weight and fun to wear around! Love the beam!!! Would recommend.
