Poor & Unprofessional Treatment of UGC Creators
Their team was very misleading with their hiring process, and did not honor the contract they had me sign. Specifically told me they were looking to hire someone for a long-term collaboration, then after I spent MANY hours onboarding for them and rejected other campaign offers, they let me go even though “it didn’t have anything to do with my content or work”, but because they decided to change their whole marketing strategy. Also didn’t honor a clause in their contract for a 1-week termination notice. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing behavior.

Refreshing
I love what this app is. Please don’t add an explore or reels/shorts button ever. This app feels refreshing to share photos similar to Pinterest but more centered on what we upload rather than discovery. You guys rock !! Good update would be ability to private our profile :) otherwise I’m enjoying it

think: instagram meets pinterest, meets aesthetic pics- but less pressure.
i love that it helps pick photos from your camera roll- it helps me find moments i completely forgot about (as someone with 52,547 photos) that i love. it's so awesome to see others' cool photos & film pics & whatnot & i ADORE the app. it'd be cool if there were more communities (especially local ones- i live near a larger city & would love to connect with other users near me) but i understand the app is in its early phase, and for someone who signed up before it even dropped (& downloaded it the day i got the link) i really do love the concept & execution. there are a few things it's missing, sure, but i think given just a little time, it will be SPECTACULAR. i encourage you to check it out if you're on the fence, because beam is already so interesting, fun to play around with, & cool to connect with others & see their photos :) <3 the beam team!

Ghosted after feedback interview
Avoid this app. I did a user feedback interview for Beam after seeing an instagram advertisement promising a $50 payout and was ghosted when I followed up about receiving the payment.

Love beam for curating my camera roll
Really great for sorting camera roll with photos. I love scrolling thru the communities tab to find concert posts, NYC posts, and find things to do from other users posts
A real photo app!
It’s so nice to have an app to share photos with people again. Nothing else needs to be said! I look forward to making a public photo journal and to connect with other people excited to share their photos too.
My new favorite way to share
I’ve been using this app for a couple of weeks now and I’ve really been enjoying sharing my photos. I love how easy it is to select your photos and I use the suggested search a lot when im making my posts. This community is super wholesome and I always get random people commenting on my posts! I think this app is really going to take off and im excited to see it grow.

i LOVE this app. their search engine & suggested photos for your camera roll is so good. it's also great at finding pictures & grouping my old pictures i forgot about into albums. i've been treating it like my own digital journal, and documenting everything i want. this is the social media i've been wanting🙏🏼🙏🏼

can’t use it, not in my country
looks a really useful and fun app but pleaseee allow more countries to sign up for the one-time passcode. orrr you can add a different sign-in option but please something.
