Does not work
As with key detect this app does not work and will not give you an accurate BPM, the BPM jumps around and can’t figure out what it is.

Does not even recognise a techno beat with no instruments but the beat...
doesnt work at all...

Not sure why but it runs slow constantly having to check the actual beat your key detection app is great

The BPMs jump around moving from one meaningless number to the next during every song I tried.

$3.99 for this? Not yet! The interface is cool, but the program isn’t solid yet.

Unfortunate Purchase
I would prefer to ask for support before writing a review, but that seems hard to do. I have tried every app I can find to measure live beats per minute for live performance. This sounded good, but I am disappointed. Unless I am missing something, it does not keep accurate time, there is no start/stop button so it just runs constantly, it is more limited than advertised. Maybe it will get better?

Nice app to play with my guitar at a steady BPM, metronome function is really useful to do so !

I thought this would be a great solution to sync an audio signal with Ableton Live using Link. The problem is that when using the built microphone on the iphone, or ipad, this causes the tempo to fluctuate wildly. I guess it might be more reliable with a dedicated ios audio interface but there is no option to select an audio input in the app. I've tried other ios and Mac OS apps by Mixvibes before and they all had problems when first released so maybe the app will be updated to include more audio in options.

Needs AU/IAA/Audiobus!
Does what it says — detects BPM from mic and outputs it to Ableton Link, but that is only part of the need for such a tool!
Many music apps support Audiobus, AU, and/or IAA but do not detect BPM or output beat clocks to Ableton. If this app supported those inputs, it could upgrade and improve a lot of other apps. Don’t forget to also add audio outputs so that it can be used in pass-through!

Perfect for syncing my band to an Ableton session
I use it to beat-sync my live band session to an Ableton project, and automatic bpm detection is pretty accurate !
There are also some cool gadgets like metronome clic, and flash effect.
Only 4 stars because I miss an Apple Watch intégration.
