Only video sampler on App Store
This afaik is the only app to trigger video samples to make a song and chop up sample visual material on the App Store
It’s good, tho there is a learning curve
My improvement suggestions would be:
- adding the ability to see the video audio waveform to trigger it perfectly in the right place and to set start and end positions visually rather than by ear.
- metronome, and also some basic beats that can be switched on to play against…
- the ability to play backing music / metronome / basic beats but not have them export with the final video if you don’t want it too (say if you want to beat it out to the track but want it exported solo without the backing for import into a DAW elsewhere)

Love this app!
i purchased this for my ipad air2 and it works great so im sure it works on most ipads, this is a great tool for people who want to make videos with music matched up to certain parts, very fun to play around with. im sure it will only get better, ill add to my review later. great job developer
Brilliant idea - sequencer needed - currently incompleted
It's a cool idea but am requesting a refund: without an editable timeline or sequencer is just fun but no real use. I want to use an app to make a video i can post on YouTube and be able to deliver high quality. If i have to rely on my own talent at finger drumming am screwed. Am also quite positive an not the only one.

Internal sequencer is such an advanced feature for the regular users, would be an overkill. BeatCut supports MIDI though. You can use external MIDI sequencers, so you would not need to rely on your finger drumming :)

This is what IOS has been missing.. samplers are all very well, but they are only audio, this does video too.. fantastic!

I would expect an app like this to cost 10 times as much. I’ve just started playing around with it and not only am I coming up with so many ways I’ll be using it going forward, it’s also an absolute blast. I love that it is simple and to the point, and I would take that over tons of additional features. Another excellent app from this developer.
