Update
Such a great little app and too bad it’s been abandoned. It would be great if they added a few in app purchases with some more sounds. So easy to use and even though the UI is a little basic it’s still always was such a good app.

Problem with the paid App
I bought the product and the App doesnt recognise that i paid for it.
I tried to contact the conceptor and didn’t receive any answer from him since months.

Great app, love to see an update
I just stumbled across this app and think it’s great! It has so much potential and it would be amazing if the developer could find time to update it as it’s quite old now. This isn’t a criticism at all but a genuine request to see if a great app could be transformed into an amazing app 😁👍
Brilliant lil sketch app
We have lots of audio options on iOS, great free Auv3’s, DAW’s, soft synths, what we lack is a sketch tool for quickly throwing together inspiration that encourages us to build upon our track, and not just try to find the end of the track so you can move on. This sketch pad is no exception, that said…. It has the ability to paint out complex drums, gorgeous melodies, all within some very wonky but effective workflow. I dig it.

Hi I am only leaving a 1 star because I needed to let you know beatonal is no longer available on the android store. Please put it back up. I was about to pay for the pro version but could not find the app for download. Please put it back on google play. It is the best music creation software on android OR apple

Lots of controls
I like the app a lot! The GUI is very simple and straightforward. Definitely worth the money! The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I would like to see an “undo/redo” button and it should have inter-app compatibility.
Hidden Gem that’s incredibly useful -
I forgot how overwhelmed I was when I discovered the potential in this multidimensional application 3yrs ago -wow-you kinda get overwhelmedly lost in the awesome new ways a producing music on iOS -
Sadly I forgot about how usefully productive this I almost lost it in usual swamp of iOS Evolving fluidity you can remember sort of the name and what it did ....Weirdly enough I remembered purchasing it by using its highly popular less usable rolling stone of a bastard father application-hmpfft! - gladly we’ve found each other again & I hope others do too & hopefully more will soon !

Oh my god I love this app
Ok I just wanna say you have to download this I just made soooooooooooo many good songs I just can’t figure out how to save them so I can play them later but other that that this app is AMAZING

No audiobus, au etc? This app is like an enhanced version or Reason Figure, which is really nice, but you cannot do much with it until you it can be used it with other apps

Thought I would update my review and add a star. This is still a fun and useful app for generating loops and ideas. Exports wav files wherever I want them. MIDI files too. This is one of those “under the radar” apps for music creation.
The UI is not fancy but this guy is powerful and fun! Would like to see sample import from iOS Document Picker or AudioShare. It's what Figure should have been and more. Well worth it!

I loved Figure but wanted more. Now I’ve found it: Beatonal. I wish there was a track for pads. This is great.
Maybe there’s something here, but probably not
After reading some of the reviews, I decided to give it a go. In no way did I find this to be like Figure as most 5 star reviewers claimed. There are other app alternatives that make better money sense overall... including Figure!
With that being said... If you have the extra cash available and need a new app fix, you could do worse.

Great
Design is ace and so much more stylish than all these mediocre minimal interfaces made by summer interns that you see on your average music making app. Here, everything is easy to find and fun to explore. I’ve played with it for about 3 weeks: Musical results are always surprising and generally good. Very inspiring, thanks a lot!
