This is good in theory but you get bug eyes as far as these enlarged cartoonish eyes and you can adjust this feature anywhere! You can turn up the smoothing effect which includes blurred background but nothing to fix your eyes! I want a refund. I will not use this

I used to have to cake on makeup for videos. So awesome that I can focus on content rather than aesthetics!
Used to be good... what happened?
I used to like this app because it was a natural looking video with a few “highlights” that you can adjust BUT NOW it automatically makes my eyes look huge! Very unnatural. Now sure what happened but... I will wait to see if the app goes back to the original... bummed!
Also, it never lagged, it didn’t make me look like I was doing a voice over. Now, it kinda lags.. please fix the problems.

What’s up with the most recent update? The app used to generate decent videos with a nice shallow depth of field and nice color and no altering of features aside from skin smoothing.had some slow motion but didn’t mind that. Now the apps skin color is a horrible pink orange no matter what lighting and it makes your eyeballs larger and gives you no option to not do that! Also the video playback is really lagged and and weird as though it isn’t processing correctly. Fix these and I’ll change my rating.

Good but it’s my first vid. UPDATE: love the app. It’s boasted beautifying feature is essentially a soft focus on the main subject (you) and the background is very blurry. I find it really useful because I try to keep a series of video journals - but with the standard video camera I get too distracted by my appearance and although I’m recording useful often pivotal reflections I am also busy fussing with my hair and face - REALLY ANNOYING TO WATCH! This app removes the detail enough to allow me to talk without paying attention to my own face (footnote: I have ADHD so attention is not my strong suit).

I like the lighting but sometimes it does not record my voice which is irritating 😤 because I have no way of knowing until I’ve saved it. I checked my settings and the microphone is on so it’s hit or miss, so for that reason I won’t use this app!😕
