Great stories, my kids love it
I honestly didn’t think my kids would enjoy it this much, but they love it. They are into Star Wars and at this point every time I drive them around and at bedtime they ask me for a new Star Wars story about some new character I never heard of. Counting Sheep understands them and in seconds they are listening to a new story. I also appreciate that it always keeps the audio stories "clean” too - they sometimes ask for questionable funny versions and it keeps it pretty PG.

Amazing quality
I love reading fan fiction stories online, but I really don’t have the talent to write my own stories. This app changed everything! Now I can have fan fiction written for me about stuff I like. I just had it write an Avengers-like story about myself as a quirky superhero saving the world and was listening to it as an audiobook in less than a minute

Thanks for telling my story
I love stories, but books I buy or borrow are sometimes not relatable. The stories this app writes on the spot are literally about me, about my children, about my dog, about my town, about anything I actually care about. They are creative and well written. The audio stories are also narrated very well. It’s hard to believe it’s written by ai, not by a real author

Mixed bag
The narrators are all excellent and easy to understand. There are several problems with the app that keeps it from being useful for falling asleep to. One is the fact the stories are too short. They range from nine to about eighteen minutes. Who falls asleep in nine minutes? Plus the narration is fairly fast paced. Again, tough to fall asleep to. Finally all the stories seemed to start in the middle with no lead in. And then they end abruptly. There are better choices out there for stories to fall asleep to.

Cool but costly, plus privacy issues
The app itself is cool enough (although hangs quite a bit requiring reopening), but are you serious that we have to pay that much for a lifetime subscription and then STILL have to pay more to create personal stories (beyond the first 3 free teasers)? That's what I call a ripoff. Also, and more importantly, you don't find out until you're deleting your account that the stories become the intellectual property of the developers. Makes sense in that they "wrote" it, but if you put any personal details into filling out the prompts, now your information and "private" thoughts could easily be out there for all the world to see. That's disgusting and it should be clearly pointed out to the users BEFORE they choose to generate personal stories, not hidden in some tiny print that they'll probably never see. My advice is to skip this app and use a free AI generator online to create little short stories (but again, skip any personal details you don't want out there).

Free Lifetime doesn’t mean free for life
You get all of 3 credits for free. More credits are expensive. The app description does not even talk about credits. For all we know one can get nothing without paying.

Shady developer?
This is the second time ive tried to download this and get the ALLEGED lifetime plan for free (through AppRaven). But I found NO lifetime option — at any price.
Quite a few negative reviews/comments on AppRaven because of this issue, and some reviewers say developer has never responded to their queries regarding this … what, oversight?

Perfect audiobook
Kids listen to stories on way to/ from school and afterschool activities. Stories are just the right length and very engaging when using your name.
Very entertaining and enjoyable!
I am using this app with my daughter for bedtime stories and we are having great fun with it!
