Our mission is to address food insecurity by rescuing good food that would otherwise not get consumed. According to a survey by the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) about 40% of the food produced in restaurants does not get consumed, which means it’s wasted and contributes to landfills, which is both environmental and economic loss. The Swacha Bharath Abhiyan estimated that the annual economic value of food wasted in India is around INR 92,000 crore.
