I’m my own person.
I don’t need anybody to tell me how to think and that’s where beehive comes in beehive supplies me with factual information about individual and collective events. I don’t want to be told about how to reach a conclusion about the detail in any of those events I want to be able to make that conclusion myself and beehive is a major contribution that pool.
If you are the kind of person who enjoys getting the correct facts and reaching your own conclusions then beehive is the one for you. I’m not saying don’t look elsewhere for information because that would be foolish and would play into the hands of other collective or information providing groups whose data
maybe corrupted or false.
Use your own grey matter, make up your own mind, make your own choices and come to your own conclusions.

My go-to app for news.
I am very happy with this app that I have discovered by chance! It is not only a news aggregator, but it is assigning a score to each news with a clear explanation of why that score has been assigned. Another thing I love is that for sources that I don't have access to, it's still providing an AI-generated summary of the news itself, so I can still have a gist of what the article says. It is also extremely reasonably priced, so I am not sure what not to like about it.

Great app
Beehive News makes evaluating news much easier. I really like being able to compare coverage, identify potential bias and better understand how a story is presented. It’s a useful tool for anyone who wants to read the news more critically.

I was looking for a news app that told me what was going on in my country, and the world.
I wanted:
✅ NO AGENDA
✅ NO BIAS
✅ INDEPENDENT JOURNALISTS
✅ JUST FACTS
Despite the nice social media advertising to that effect… this is “NOT” a news app. It’s a newspaper stand, where you:
❌ Pay a monthly subscription to have the stand.
❌ Pay a further subscription to each newspaper brand if you want to read their story.
✅ Despite the generous free trial & the free trial with individual news companies, it’s more subscriptions and more to cancel if you don’t want to continue.
❌ Trying to remember the length of each subscription, before you are charged (if it’s not one you like), is too much hassle in this era.
🟰 Every developer needs to earn a living, I have no problem with that, but I would suggest credits to read articles from each brand, which is seamless, and there’s no commitment from the reader, furthermore, being able to listen 🎧 to articles, and more videos 📺 is what the next generation is looking for, which I hope is helpful feedback, as there is potential for much more here, but most want to pick up, scroll, choose watch, listen or read )in that order), within seconds, not minutes, or keep getting told that you “need a subscription to continue reading”. Sure you can turn paid off, but then the choice is very limited.
For now, it’s not for me, but good luck in the future.

Flawed Algorithm with Systemic Selection Bias
While the app markets itself as an objective, AI-driven media analysis tool, it suffers from a severe structural bias. The platform repeatedly gives low ratings to articles reporting on Islamophobia, arbitrarily penalizing them for lacking "context" or relying on a "victimhood narrative." Concurrently, it rewards articles with highly critical or negative framing of Islam with high trustworthiness scores.Because Beehive primarily rates existing mainstream UK news feeds, it inherits and amplifies the media's worst systemic biases. Rather than correcting echo chambers, its "Smart Rating" system is highly vulnerable to coordinated off-platform brigading. This is not an objective data science tool; it is a black-box algorithm that consistently rewards divisive, one-sided narratives. Avoid if you want genuine, balanced media literacy.

Best app in the world 🌎
As a PM i find the UX very well done easy to use and adds a lot of value to my news reading. I used to have Ground News but they only analyse the publication (although they add that publication label to each article) and Beehive is the only (that i know) that assesses each article in depth. Missing dark mode and more US sources maybe but its a small thing.

Amazing App and outstanding customer service
I love this app, gives you a real cross section of up to date news from all angles. Recently I managed to get in a bit of a muddle logging in (all my fault) and got in touch for help. They were quick to fix the problem and sent a lovely email explaining. They then checked in a week later to make sure all was working well.

My new favorite news app
This is the best news app one can ask for and just what the world needs right now. Incredible tool to learn what is fake news / misinformation and how to fight fake news, specially if you’re a student like myself. It’s also got literally all the articles from all the publishers I care grouped together by subject so I can choose which one is the best / most reliable source to read (eg war in Donbas / Ukraine was a topic I was interested in recently). It’s a new app but I hope the add more features in the future as there’s so much more potential.

Great news aggregator and idea!
Easy to find latest and best written articles. Always up to date, inexpensive and can easily find what different publications are writing. Articles have rating feature which is useful, helps gets around spammy click bait on social.
