Lost Functionality

Worked great for a while. Now it feels like it was abandoned by the developers. It freezes and closes the app.

Liking it, needs tweaks

I’m enjoying the app, but functionality needs enhancing so the images rotate or the take photo button can be on the right hand side? At the moment it feels like it’s designed for a left handed person.

Also, can’t gif creations be saved directly to the phone? It’s a little time consuming having the gif uploaded to the cloud only to have to download it again just to view it?

FAQ

What does the Before and After App do?

This app allows you to take a "before" photo and then overlay it on your camera view. This helps you perfectly align your "after" photo, making it easy to compare the two and visualize any changes. You can then share these comparisons or create animated GIFs.

What are the key features of the app?

Key features include overlaying "before" photos on the camera for alignment, creating animated GIFs using slider or fade effects, side-by-side sharing with custom backgrounds, an X-ray detail view, an image editor for tweaking attributes, and a re-align tool for imperfect "after" shots.

How much does the app cost?

The app is free to download and use. There is an optional subscription available for $0.99 every 3 months to remove ads. This subscription can be canceled at any time.

Can I import existing photos?

Yes, if you already have a "before" picture, you can simply import it into the app. The app will then overlay it on your camera, allowing you to easily take an "after" photo and compare the results.

What are some common uses for this app?

Common uses include tracking progress on remodeling projects, monitoring weight loss or fitness journeys, comparing artistic creations, or documenting any situation where visualizing changes over time is beneficial.
