I can’t sign up, won’t take my email address.

Every time I try to verify my email it says access denied. There is some technical issue that still needs to be worked out.

Unable to join.

I am trying to make an account but the app isn’t letting me, it has a lot of bugs that need to be fixed in order for people to even make an account.

No Users

Great idea for an app. Unfortunately there aren’t any people to match with. I even put my preferences set to any gender, the full age range, and open to friends and dating. The app told me it had no one to match my preferences and therefore couldn’t swipe on any profiles. Great concept but needs users for it to work

Slightly disappointed

The concept of the app is amazing. Really like the idea of being able to have both face identity and gender/sexuality affirmed in the same place. Unfortunately, this app seems to not be having a lot of traffic at this time. I have tried making an account twice already at separate times in both times there seems to not be anyone on the app. Nobody is using the chat rooms, and half the people that you click on to try to message are not listed as having an account anymore. I hope they get more traffic soon.

Waste of time

After going though a tedious list of disclaimers (definitely caters to a woke mindset), taking a silly values quiz (that glitched out twice), there were no matches to be made.

Still inaccessible

I need larger text and the app is not intuitive to allow me to scroll down and sign up again. However, from there being only one other review from two years ago, I doubt there is a dark mode. Such a shame as there is not enough resources for followers of Christ who are gay etc

Great Concept, Horrible Execution

App looks great but barely works. As an app developer I can’t believe this app passed QA and user testing. Lots of concerning privacy issues. Lack of functionality.

So much potential

Such a great idea for an app. I got to the last part of setting up my profile and it won’t let me pick my values. Legit got to the last part, there’s so many parts, and it won’t let me finish because there’s no button to continue :/

Determined Community!

This app represents the determination of a whole community of amazing people wanting to make space for each other and still others who don’t have space given them elsewhere right now. By downloading and subscribing you support this effort and give the leaders resources to figure out the problems that threaten to break this community down. That’s my review and recommendation to you. A massive thanks to the developers as you continue to make this app all we need it to be.

Great App but needs some work

This is the most meaningful app i’ve ever downloaded. I met some very close friends on here, thank you so much! It takes a while to meet people you really connect with, so don’t give up right away. However, the app has some glitches. 1. sometimes it doesn’t notify you about messages or let you respond 2. sometimes it won’t let you use the keyboard 3. sometimes it won’t let you send pictures 4. every time i’ve used the app for the past few months it’s prompted me to “re-enable” settings i’ve already set up 5. occasionally it makes me restart my whole profile and deletes everything i already added, or won’t let me edit things, which is really annoying.
some suggestions: I love meeting fellow queer christians all over the continent, but I would love to meet some within 300 miles of me every now and then
glitches and suggestions aside, if you are a queer christian, this app might just change your life for the better.

Lost Contacts

All of my contacts were gone when I restored from backup. Also, when I got back to the original phone, all of my chat contacts are gone too as well. Bummer!

No matches in my state

“Values based” is idealistic in theory, but if you never are introduced to someone you can actually meet for coffee with, then it feels futile. I’ve been on for six weeks and headed to Match to try to find connections that are actually based on proximity. 80% of my suggested matches are on the other side of the nation, in completely different time zones. I wonder if the app just doesn’t have a broad consumer base.
Perhaps it’s time after 17 years for an update.

not pleased and really annoyed

i downloaded this app a while ago with little to no issues with the software of the app. i was annoyed that i had no “matches” or people in my “area” to look at. this app needs better marketing so people will use and more people will find a affirming christian/spiritual community.

i go to re-downloaded it again today and i can’t even log back in. i tried to change my password 6 times and i just kept getting error messages and more clunky software bugs. i like the concept of the app but, wow, y’all need to make some changes.

Too Few Matches

I’m very frustrated by the lack of distance filter. After paying for premium, I still only had a handful of matches on Sunday, only one of which was in my area. It’s strange to have the app be so stingy about matches. I click through my matches every week in about two minutes as I check the locations to see if anyone lives near me. I usually go back and look through the profiles more intentionally after that, but if I only have about seven to ten matches the odds that one is going to be intriguing enough for me to strike up a long distance relationship/friendship based on a few prompts is low. This app would be much better if it was just a standard dating app with regular filters and some form of looking through profiles and liking them with the difference being that it is just for LGBTQ Christians. Getting assigned a few random people who live all over the country based on “values” (sometimes with only a couple of those in common) once a week is not a feature. It’s frustrating because we really need a way to connect with other queer Christians and this app has potential to be that but it wastes all of its potential on the weird matching system.

Good concept; more for younger audiences

I was hopeful to find a place where I could open up and let both my spiritual side as well as be more about about being bi. I would hardly fault this app for this, but there seems to be a lack of 40+ on here. And there’s not really a great way to connect with this group. I found it to be lackluster and overwhelming at the same time. Also the bugs of profile filling were frustrating. Leaving now, but wish you the best.

Bugs - or annoyances?

I work in IT, so I have expectations on how software responds. I can’t tell if it’s bugs, or not properly disclosed, that of you choose “answer later” on some questions, it will later come back and ask you again, trashing your other answers in the process. I didn’t want it to know my location or approve notifications yet, but it kept coming back to those until I answered it “correctly.” They weren’t clear you can only answer one way to be accepted. I also think the monthly price is a little high, but given I can’t get my account created without giving them everything, I think I will wait.

Doesn’t work

The app doesn’t work right and there is no one on it. Seemed really suspicious.

Lagging

This app is supposed to be for me yet isn’t. There’s too many technology problems I’ve faced, I made an account in 2021 yet coming back in 2022, my email was not recognized. Then this time, I tried to reorder my top 5 values and I couldn’t do it, and I just got my iphone, it’s new. Then everytime I got given matches on Sundays, I could not text them. So am I still on this app that’s not working??

Frustrating

I really wanted to like this app, but it is quite buggy. I created a profile, used it for months. Other profiles would often not load, images would be empty. This week I was logged out and not I’m forced to create a new profile, instead of being able to use my existing one. Frustrating

Almost unusable

I love the idea and heart behind this, but this app has major problems and has since launch. The bugs are incessant, and the worst I’ve ever experienced in an app. Half the time I open the app it crashes, I relaunch it and it goes into building a new profile and new account even though I have both set up. I have to force close the app and reopen to get my account to come back and sometimes it just won’t cooperate.

I have the latest iOS on iPhone 13 but the app can be very slow, even on WiFi, to load content.

My liked communities disappear every other click. I rarely, if ever, receive a notification when I receive a message, even though I’ve allowed them.

Also I have paid for premium and still have only found one person in my state. Not an app problem as much as a marketing one, but it does make it exceptionally difficult to engage with.

This is a preference thing but I wish there was a “tap” or “swipe” option so I don’t have to write an opening message to someone before I know they are at least interested.

I wish I had more positive things to say, but the truth is this is executed very poorly. I will absolutely keep the app to see where it goes and I’m rooting for you guys.
