About

Hold your foldable iPhone like a book, and opening and closing it becomes the bellows of an instrument. Your fingers pick the notes; the bellows decide how loud — exactly how a real accordion works. PUSH AND PULL, DIFFERENT NOTES • Close = push (red), open = pull (blue) • The bandoneon and harmonica play different notes depending on the bellows direction — driven by the hinge itself, not an on-screen switch • Fully stretched? Close to turn. Fully squeezed? Open to turn. Where you turn the bellows is the whole art FIVE BELLOWS INSTRUMENTS • Accordion: keys on the right, bass and chord buttons on the left (with the shimmer of three musette reeds) • Bandoneon: different notes on push and pull (a simplified, beginner-friendly layout) • Harmonica: close to blow, open to draw. Slide your finger toward the fold to bend • Melodica: two octaves across both pages • Shō: the ten "aitake" chords of Japanese gagaku. Same sound breathing in or out, with a soft dip as the breath turns — exactly what happens when you turn the bellows. The reeds start cold and wobbly and clear up as you pump A BARREL ORGAN ANYONE CAN PLAY • The song moves only while you pump • Run low on air and the tempo and pitch sag, like the real thing • A punched paper roll flows across the fold. Close it at the end for the finale GUIDE SONGS • The next key lights up, with the bellows direction and where to turn • Furusato, Sakura Sakura, Twinkle Twinkle, Ode to Joy, Frog Round, Jingle Bells, plus an original tango, blues and shō études • Scoring looks at only three things: keys, direction, and air. Never speed LITTLE INSTRUMENTS • Hyoshigi clappers: the night-watch call "Hi no yōjin", ceremonial claps, and the kabuki "ki". Close to strike on the call • Clip-clop: how fast you flap sets the horse's gait, from walk to gallop, on dirt, cobbles, a wooden bridge or snow • Slide whistle: the opening angle is the pitch, with siren and slide-down gags GENTLE ON THE HINGE • Moving between 65° and 170° is plenty — no need to close it all the way • Faster or harder never makes it louder • Past a daily guide (150 round trips, 30 full closes) the app suggests Finger Bellows (you can turn this off) ON OTHER IPHONES • Rub the bellows in the middle of the screen to play, or tap Auto Air SOUND • Everything is synthesized on device — no recordings • Plays with the silent switch on and mixes with music from other apps • Haptics give back the buzz of the reeds (can be turned off) PRICING • Every instrument and song is free • Ads appear only at the bottom of the instrument list — never while playing, on the outer screen, or in the tutorial • A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase removes them NO ACCOUNT • No sign-up. Settings stay on this device Terms of Use: https://nayukitecture.com/works/duo-bellows-terms-of-use.html
