User reviews

Adorable game with poor design choices

Edit: I got a response to this review and have changed my rating from 2 stars to 5. The ball follows wrist movement on the mini game. I thought I did make a backup the day before changing my phone over…but if I didn’t that is my fault. I think I made a backup, but I also know I make mistakes too. Just make sure you double check so you don’t have to feel like I do now lol. The quick, helpful, and polite response to this review was nice. There is clearly a lot of care going into this app, if I can ever spend a little real life money in it I probably will now. I’m still glad it’s free, but it deserves praise for who is behind it.

Original review: The busy paws mini game instructs you to “do what it says” but there’s at least one thing that doesn’t say anything at all. A tennis ball moves across the screen and the game expects you to know what to do. Tapping, sliding, scrolling, tilting, etc. do nothing. I constantly fail that game because I can’t do what it says if it says nothing.

Super cute game but I am glad it’s free. The idea of losing progress because I upgraded my phone is ridiculous. The game keeps prompting me to load my backup associated with my apple account but nothing happens. I’ve reinstalled it twice but I have to start over. The fact that it knows I have game data attached to this account and it just won’t load it…while continuing to prompt me to load it…is annoying to say the least. It’s not worth any extra frustration so starting over is what I’m doing.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! Will improve on the points you’ve raised but some quick responses: the ball follows your wrist movement; backups have to be configured in the game settings on your original device otherwise no backup exists to be restored

The best game ever

Finally a virtual pet game that’s actually good

Lovely app!!

Just wanted to leave a small review talking about how awesome this game is. I love how well organized the UI especially on such a small screen. All the customization available in this game from the clothes to background are really cute. I’ve seen a couple review mentioning the balance between earning hearts and coins, etc but I actually like the current system established so it doesn’t feel like I’m out of things to do for my cat. Overall great work, keep it up!!

OMG YOU NEEED TO GET THIS APP!!!!!!!

I am NOT exaggerating! This app is so good! I mean, IVE been trying to find an ACTUALLY GOOD tamagotchi pet app for a watch, and all of the ones on the App Store cost money or just SUCK! so when this app came out I had to get it IMMEDIATELY!, and loved it! All of these updates are AMAZING! and I just can’t wait for the next one! I do have a couple suggestions, and if anyone wants to friend me, my friend code is AIPPXP.

1. I would love it if the developers added more ways to communicate with your friends, instead of just see their pets. Of course I love the idea, but I don’t see the point if you can only see the other persons pet. Like maybe if you can gift them some coins, I’m sure that would be a great add on!

2. Maybe you could add more ways to get coins. Yes, there is getting coins from taking care of your pet every day, but maybe you could also give some coins for playing games

3. You could also add ways for everyone online to communicate with each other! Of course it might get a little bit chaotic, but it could just be communicating with friends, and I also know that you can already report, if something inappropriate happens

This app is SOOO CUTEEE!!! and I can’t wait to see what updates are in store yet! I also don’t think anyone who EVER downloads it would have ANY complaints about the app! It’s THAT GOOD!!!

omg this app is the CUTEST! you can have a pet cat on your watch so its perfect for people who have been wanting a pet but cant have one! or people who LOVE cats but are allergic and cant have one for a pet. or people who have a cat but want this app anyway because they LOOOVVVEEE cats (like me!) or… WE CAN SAY THIS APP IS PERFECT FOR EVERYONE!!!! i just love this app! works without wifi too! its soooooo ccuuuuuutttttteeeeeee how you can dress up your kitty in little accessories and give it little toys and put a new background and the little minigames and I loooovvvvveee iiiiiittttttttt!

WARNING: ONLY READ THIS SECTION IF YOU LIKE FEEDBACK

its SUPER CUTE but i have a few more suggestions!

1: add other cute animals like dogs or hamsters or birds

2: add sounds like purring or meowing

3: make coins easier to earn. for example, more than one coin per 10,000 steps!

4: make the cat go FEED ME! (belly will send a notification) every morning/night

and thats all! i really enjoy this app!
p.s. no hating on my grammar :)
