Hi there, thanks for the feedback! Iβm currently not seeing any crashes on my end, so the app should be running normally. Could you share a few details about what you're experiencing (e.g., your device model, iOS version, or when the crash happens)? That will help me track this down and fix it for you!
No, Beltari is ad-free. The developer has stated that there are no ads within the application.
Beltari uses your phone's camera to determine orientation and then generates a star map without taking a photo. This allows you to lower your phone immediately after tapping.
Beltari is free to use with a limit of three captures per night. A one-time purchase is available to remove this limit, offering unlimited captures without a subscription.
Yes, Beltari works fully offline. It does not require an internet connection to identify celestial objects or generate star maps.
Currently, Beltari is supported on iPhone devices. The app was last updated on 2026-08-27 with version 1.8.
Beltari features a deep-red mode that turns its controls, star labels, and Calendar deep red. This helps maintain your eyes' adaptation to the dark sky.
Beltari offers five visual styles for the star map: Classic, Antique parchment, Blueprint, Neon, and Minimal. You can also mix these color themes with different star shapes.
Beltari has an age rating of 4+. This indicates it is suitable for young children and older audiences.
