Bematist: Walk the Classics

Your daily walk, through a classic. Bematist is a step counter that walks you down the real routes of great books. Your steps from Apple Health carry you along the road to Castle Dracula, across the sea Odysseus sailed home, over the plains where Don Quixote charged the windmills. Reach a place from the book and the original passage written there unlocks — the real text, word for word. WALK A CLASSIC • Pick a book from the library and set out. Your real walking distance moves you along its route. • Journeys with real geography are drawn on a real map. Worlds like Oz and Wonderland get an illustrated one. • Every stop has its own hand-tinted engraving, and arriving there is a moment of its own. A PACE YOUR LEGS CAN KEEP • Choose a daily step goal and a pace. Bematist works out, from your own walking, roughly when you'll reach the end. • Quiet days don't reset anything. There are no streaks to break — a short walk is still progress. • A notification tells you when you should reach your next stop. WALK TOGETHER • Start a party and walk a book with friends, each of you a dot moving along the same route. • Every arrival and every finished book becomes a card worth sharing. A NEW BOOK EVERY MONTH • Walkers vote on what comes next, and a new book joins the library every month. Dracula, the Odyssey, Moby-Dick, Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, Frankenstein, The Wizard of Oz, The Count of Monte Cristo, A Tale of Two Cities and more. NO ACCOUNT Open the app and start walking. No sign-up, no ads. BEMATIST PRO The first chapters of every book are free. Bematist Pro opens every chapter of every book, and comes in two plans: • Solo — every chapter, every illustration, and a vote on the next book. • Leader — everything in Solo, plus walk-together parties. Friends you invite don't need Pro. Each plan is available monthly, yearly or for life. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase. Two thousand years later, so do you.
