I'm an AP US History teacher and I love this app! The authors and professors interviewed on BF World are like rock stars to me. The show is wonderfully detailed, original, thoughtful, and accessible. I learn so much from BFW and I am looking for ways to use it in my classroom.

Concurring with other reviewers thus far, this is a wonderful app/podcast. What I think is most valuable however is the line Liz walks between history for the general audience and the professional - a proverbial 'middle ground'. 😏

An excellent podcast
I highly recommend this podcast. There is a wide range of topics, the questions asked by the host are thorough and insightful, and guests are knowledgeable. I listen while exercising and it makes the time fly.

I absolutely love diving into a different aspect of Colonial History every week. There are a lot of special guests whose names I recognize and it also provides me with excellent book recommendations in the process:)

The enthusiasm that historians have for their work are brought out well in this format. No soft ball questions allowed and the topics are always much more interesting than I thought.

This is best Podcast on History I have found. The interviews are with the people who do the subject research from original documents. It is not a rehash of someone's thoughts.
