About

BenchBridge is a free, open-source benchmarking tool for iPhone and iPad. The official app is free forever, with no ads, in-app purchases, subscriptions or paid unlocks. Official project and source code: https://github.com/Hashiao/BenchBridge Source-code license: MIT. What you can measure • RAM read, write, copy and access latency, with configurable working sets and thread counts. • Working-set size versus access latency, from small blocks up to the configured limit, with measurements plotted on a curve. • Sequential and random storage reads and writes with configurable file size, block size and queue depth. • CPU and supported Metal GPU workloads, including memory access, integer and floating-point computation. Keep your results View local history and export JSON reports using the system share sheet. Measurements run on your device without a BenchBridge account. Reports are not automatically uploaded to the developer. Understand the measurements Results depend on temperature, power settings, operating-system scheduling and test parameters. iOS chooses the physical CPU cores; priority-based curves do not guarantee separate performance/efficiency-core measurements. Unsupported GPU workloads are identified in the app. Results from different tools or protocols are not necessarily comparable. Official free distribution Check the project link above to identify the official project. Third-party download or unlocking fees are not required by BenchBridge. The official free commitment does not change the MIT license. Support: https://github.com/Hashiao/BenchBridge/issues Privacy: https://github.com/Hashiao/BenchBridge/blob/main/docs/PRIVACY.md
