About
Bendline works out the marks for every common conduit bend, draws the bend, and walks you through it step by step. Built for electricians and apprentices, with the numbers of your own bender.
OFFSETS
• Offset up to an obstacle, with the shrink already added to the marks
• Offset with the first bend fixed, or just the spacing
• Rolling offset: rise and roll give the true offset and how far to roll the conduit
• Parallel offsets: the mark shift for every conduit of a group
• Offset in a tight space: the bender angle that fits the room you have
SADDLES
• 3-point saddle with a 45° or 60° center bend
• 4-point saddle over a wide obstacle
90s AND LARGE BENDS
• 90° stub-up with your bender's take-up
• Back-to-back 90s with the conduit to cut
• Segmented 90: every shot, its spacing and degrees, laid out like the makers' manuals
TOOLS
• Cut length with the gain of the 90
• Multipliers and shrink for any angle, exact or from the bender's table
• Outside and inside diameters of EMT, IMC, rigid and PVC schedule 40
MORE BENDS
• 90 with a kick, worked out with your bender's radius so the kick lands where you measured
• Compound 90 around a pipe, a box or a square in the corner, with the clearance you want
• Parallel and concentric 90s for racks of conduit
• A whole run on one stick: stub-up, offsets, saddles and a 90, every mark from one end, with the cut length and the code's 360° limit
BEND TO THE BEEP
Your phone becomes a level on the conduit: it beeps faster as you near the angle, holds a tone when you get there and learns your bender's springback from every bend. Included, no extra purchase.
SMARTER MARKS
• Over 70 hand, mechanical, hydraulic and electric benders from the makers' own charts, with each one's specs; pin the ones you use
• Your bender's radius method: every mark moved for the real curve, or bending on centers
• Red and amber warnings when a bend cannot be made with your bender
• Press and slide on any number to change it
• A watch app for offsets, saddles, stubs and kicks
YOUR BENDER'S NUMBERS
Built-in take-up and radius for popular hand benders and an electric bender, taken from the makers' own guides, plus the usual numbers. Add your own bender with the take-up and gain stamped on it.
EXACT OR TRADE TABLE
Exact trigonometry for any angle, or the rounded constants printed on hand benders. Your choice, in Settings.
MADE FOR THE JOB SITE
• Reads like a tape: inches and sixteenths, feet, decimal inches, millimeters or centimeters
• A keypad made for fractions, with one-step nudges
• Every bend drawn to scale with its marks, and the straight conduit with each mark from the end
• Step-by-step mode in big type that keeps the screen on while you bend
