I purchased the physical Word Search Book, Volume 12 from Dollar General yesterday and was disappointed by the lack of quality control. I noticed several unintended and unrelated words appearing in the grids that are not part of the theme. In the literal first “Royalty” puzzle, I found words such as THROB, NUKE, THC, CRAB, and later even P*RN, which is concerning given that this is a general-audience puzzle book. I also noticed inconsistencies between the word list and the grid itself, which made some puzzles confusing and suggests they were not carefully proofread or human-checked before printing. For a $2 book it’s not a huge loss, but buyers should be aware that the puzzles appear AI-generated and lack proper editorial review or thematic filtering.
