No sound

I have a iPhone 16 pro and iOS 26. This game has no sound and when playing the phone get very warm

First Level

Unable to pick up the rung in the very first playable section, only look and go 'I could make use of that' in an endless loop - or get shot by walking down.

Would love to love this. It is the very first game I ever played, on my mothers Linux machine.
Just stumbled across 'Beyond a Steel Sky' and something in me said that it looks familiar.

Audio is broken

Audio sounds weird in the latest iOS version

A classic game but need optimisation

This is a decent implementation of a classic adventure game, but wow does it heat up my phone in barely a few minutes. Clearly something needs to be tweaked in the emulator, because I find it hard to believe that a modern phone will struggle to run a 30 year old PC game.

Support

Although I have this game on my computer for free but I must support Revolution

Bug Report

Near the beginning of the game, the putty cannot be inserted into the empty light socket. IPhone running version 16.7.11

Nostalgic!

Very fun, old school point-and-click adventure! The humor and characters were a great touch.

Oldie but a goodie

I still have the box of the original game and I now have the means to play it again. Perfect rendition of a classic. I throughly enjoyed replaying and rediscovering a great game. Thank you!

One of my all time favorite games!

Beneath the Steel Sky is genuinely one of my favorite games. if you like point and click adventure games this is a must have! I’ve originally played this on PC and loved it, when I realized it was on iOS, I had to buy it just to support revolution software.

This game, and it’s sequel Beyond a Steel Sky are truly masterpieces. Great story, and great gameplay.

Gut

Gameplay top, läuft einwandfrei auf IPhone SE2020

Love it

Amazing game I play on my iPad every couple of years

Gutes Spiel

Stürzt nur leider oft bei mir ab 😔

Great game but glitch won’t let me progress.

The game is very funny and looks beautiful but I’ve got to a part where a character stops talking to me and won’t do what they are supposed to do to go further 😭

Controls are horrible

This could be a fun game but the controls are glitchy and inconsistent. Takes all the fun out. At least they are on Apple

Revolution Rocks

I loved this game and the other in the series is amazing engine to have fun with and explore. Heaps of fun. I’m a fan. Since Sam and max, since monkey island… I love this genre of games. So happy to see more and more being made.

Good PnC for iPhone

I’ve played many a point and click throughout my time and this one was pretty good. I was going to play it on PC but why not play it on sleepless nights in bed. Good story, good humor, creative world, and a hint system for the not so obvious steps thankfully bc the maps can be on the larger side sometimes. Id say it’s worth the price if you like games like Whispers of a Machine or Unavowed, this seems like a solid predecessor. Gonna try out the Apple Arcade version of this series next.

I love the game

Quality could be better. The hints are very useful! They could be more accurate tho
My new iPad Pro was discharging quickly and was hot at the beginning of the game
I wish for more 90's and 2000 games on iPad

Good Point & Click Adventure

The game is quite enjoyable with a story that’s juuust about gripping enough to keep you going.

A tad too much running back and forth in confusion (but that’s quite common in retro point & clicks) although the puzzles are very satisfying when you complete them.

I found the ending to be rather rushed however this hasn’t spoiled my overall experience of the game.

Absolutely worth the price, I feel that I got my money’s worth.

Nostalgic excellence

Revolution studios ooze nostalgia for me.
Memories as a teenager sat in front of a clunky old Tv trying to figure out the next move in their beautifully crafted adventures.
The games have all stood the test of time and I would recommend anyone to give this game and any of their others a go.

Not playable

Joey got stuck by the elevator and the glitch is saved into the game. I would have to start over and I’m not doing that. Ugh.
