Best App Ever
I’ve never liked going to the dentist because I always felt like it was such an unknown. Bento made it so easy for me to find a dentist and figure out how much my treatment was going to be all before sitting in the chair. So glad I found this!

Great customer service team and love how their platform makes my dental experience so transparent for me and my dentist. The dentist portal is so easy and allows my dentist to collect payment for my appointment on the same day I’m there! I can see the explanation of benefits from my phone on the way out.

Very useful notification
I love the new look and feel especially the quick links and notifications. It was very helpful to see that I had a receipt to review as soon as I was checked out at the dental office.

Bento makes accessing my dental benefit info so easy. It was easy to find a dentist.
All of my receipts are right in the app and my dentist is even able to process payment for out of pocket expenses using my HSA card in the app. Awesome!

It’s a No for me
My workplace switched our dental insurance to Bento. What a mistake. Thankfully we’re switching back. The app is confusing, hard to set up. Quite frankly I don’t feel I should need to download an app to get the basic information required for a dental cleaning. I got so fed up that I finally gave up and just paid for the cleaning out of pocket. It was worth the $150 not to have to toy with this service.

Not so fast
You can't tell me twice that I it is a error in installing the app and information within. Only once does that work! I can't get the app to complete the set up. I get a message that indicates in review???
Really confusing when enrolled through employer
Bento is contacting me by email after enrollment at work, but when trying to login, it tells me the email is unknown. I have by benefit number, they have my info, do I still have to do “sign-up”?
Wonderful app
Paying much less for dental than I was when I was getting ripped off by traditional insurance companies! It’s super user-friendly and I’ve had no problems whatsoever.
Privacy
If you’re concerned about your privacy and HIPPA, don’t use this app. Their “prices” are the same no matter what city you put in. The sign up process requires your social security number. I’m not giving that information. I’d say pass and move on
Requires your SSN to sign up!!
Requires your SSN just to sign up and they wait until the very last step to ask you for it. No thanks!! Shady...
