BEON is a social discovery app that helps people find and connect with others nearby through real-world meetups (“Hangs”). Explore a live map, discover people and events around you, and start conversations to turn shared interests into actual plans. Key Features Discover nearby people on the map See nearby users and view profiles to learn more about them. Create and join Hangs (meetups/events) Create a Hang by choosing a category, date/time, and location. Browse available Hangs and join ones you’re interested in. Chat and connections Message other users to coordinate plans and connect. Stories / feed-style content View updates shared by users in the community. Check out Mode: hides from map, disables location sharing, prevents connection requests, disables event hosting Users can enable an incognito mode to hide their presence from the map. Permissions & Data BEON may request: Location access to show nearby users/events and to support map-based discovery. Camera / Photos access to upload profile photos and media content. Notifications (if enabled) to receive important updates.
