No scanner for QR codes. Have to add digital deals manually in store. App is just for pictures. Even the cashiers hate it.

Much easier than the Walt’s App
App sucks
The app behaves terribly on an Apple device. It’s jerky does not respond properly to touch prompts and it is very slow to load or react to actions. Higher Walt’s app developer, it worked much better. Add a list feature also. What good is going into an ad in saving things if you can’t compile a list while you’re in there. So far the transition from Walt’s to Berkots is not going very smoothly for us.

Needs more info
I’ve noticed many of the coupons I want to clip do not have descriptions of eligible products. Example: $4.00 off Tide detergent. You cannot click on it to bring up eligible items and I’m pretty sure I can’t just buy any size or type of Tide detergent and get $4.00 off. I need to know what to buy in order to use these coupons! I don’t want to get to the checkout and find out several items in my cart don’t qualify.

Store prices differ
Checking prices on items not for sale do not correspond to store pricing. Example was 18 count eggs on app was $3.89 and in store price was 4.99. So apparently the only prices you can find if going to store to shop are the sales prices.

Numerous times I have tried to set up the app. I go through the “sign in/sign up” process and when I get to the screen that says continue it will not continue. I was so happy to see that Berkot’s got an app, sure wish it worked.

No preview
You can't preview next week's ad. I get an email to preview next week sad and then it takes me to the app where there is no next week to be seen. Also, there is not always a full description of the product that is on sale. Example, I don't know what kind of apple it is.
Difficult and time consuming
The old method of viewing the weekly ads was MUCH better. Viewing sales page by page instead of piecemeal is quicker and more convenient if you are shopping entire sale instead of an individual item.
Awesome app!
Easy to browse groceries, clip coupons and create a shopping list when going in store. Recipes are a nice touch when in need of something quick or new inspiration.
