Excellent app - helps me keep me spending on track with my annual/monthly budget.
Best Budget App
There are a lot of apps out there for budgeting, but this is the best one I’ve ever found. I’ve been using it for many years. Here are the best things about it:
1. The search feature. You can search for any purchase you’ve ever made. If I want to know when was the last time I bought shampoo, I can search for it (as long as I put shampoo in my note). If I want to know how much I spent on my property taxes last year, I can search and pull up the purchase. You get the idea. It’s extremely useful.
2. Adjusting the budget. I change my budget every 3 months, depending on my spending habits, and this app allows you to change these options as often as you want.
3. The simplicity. So many apps use bright colors, cute designs, or limitless options to draw you in, but eventually, I discovered that when it comes to keeping track of finances, simple and functional is best.
4. The totals. When you open your app, you can immediately tap to see your totals for the month, including how ahead or behind you are. That’s all I need sometimes, and it’s super easy to get to.
This app outshines all the rest. There are also graphs you can create, that I personally don’t use much, but some people might find helpful.
If I had to choose something it could improve on, I’d say that the total you see when opening the app should be your monthly total, not the total from since you started using the app. That isn’t a very useful total to see, and shouldn’t be the first one it shows. But that’s such a small thing, it’s not really important.

Useful but too many ads, even when paid
Really useful app that I use every day but boy do I wish they’d lay off the ads! You get interrupted every time you input an entry!

Straightforward and helpful
I have been using this app for four or five years now to track my expenses, and for me it's just about perfect. I didn’t want an app that connected to my bank or credit card, just a way to track my spending by category. There are some features I’d like to see work differently (for example, it would be great for the reports to include how much you spent by category by month in dollar totals, not just percents, as well as how much you were over or under budget in a category for a selected time range). But it does the basic functions I want it to do very well, and I can export a CSV when I want to analyze further. I recommend it! [updated 2021]

User friendly & comprehensive
This app has all the basic features of any regular budget app. Buuuut.....I LOVE the new photo feature!! Thank you thank you thank you for adding this feature!!! I like to have copies of my receipts, but without the paper! Comes in handy in case I need to do a quick return or exchange, or if I simply want to track expenses. The best part is that I don't need to clog my photo album with random pictures of receipts. Please note, I am using the pro version. The basic version was fine but I had WAY too many transactions to be limited to the few allowed in the basic version. It was not only practical for what I needed, but wise. Tracking expenses is important to know where your money is going. I can honestly now say this this is THE best budget app EVER!

Can’t email csv or pdf reports to myself frustrating
Can’t email csv or pdf to myself, the app just closes anytime I try to export any reports. So frustrating and I’ve tried to email them with no response

Latest update renders app useless. Just crashes on opening.
Great app but one annoying issue
I’ve been using this app for years. I think I upgraded it once when the pro version was a one time fee. However I noticed in the latest versions every time I open the app and go to make an entry, before I can it tries to convince me to upgrade to the new ongoing subscription service. You can certainly say no and move along but having to pop up every time is quickly becoming irritating especially when I did upgrade once upon a time back before Pro was a monthly plan

Support Lacking
For the first time ever I reached out to support for an issue I had. The initial response was good but after responding to a question they asked me I received no further response. I followed up days later by sending an email only to be found that I had been blocked! No idea why… no explanation & still have the issue. Not thrilled.
