Works ok, but it is not clear if it is showing magnetic or true directions. Should be an easy fix.

My old app had trouble finding north. This app seems to find it more quickly but it still takes it a while. Good luck with it.

I don’t see why they should call it that. It’s a bit better but if this is truly the “Best Compass”, then we’re all in trouble.

It’s off by about 9° would like to be able to correct it to point to real True North.

This is the best compass I've ever had for my iPhone. I use it in True north setting and I've checked it with an expensive compass and it is always spot on. In True North setting it sets it for the proper magnetic declination for the location you're in. With an iPhone swing your phone around in a figure 8 to calibrate your phone. I'm an amateur astronomer and this app is a huge help.

Compass upside down
iPad Air 4:
With location services off the compass rose points to South instead of North. Even with location services on it seems to be about about 10-20 degrees west of north. It might work with a specific model, but not with an iPad Air 4.
