You have ruined my timer and my morning routines!!!
I use this with my twin toddlers every morning. It helps our morning go well. Each child is able to select a color and at the end of our morning routine, if we cooperate we always “beat the timer” and dance to the song at the end that we call the “victory dance”. I paid for the full Best Timer as well. Now that it has been updated, my screen is off and the visual of the timer is completely ineffective. I’m so upset and frustrated that I am unable to go back to a version that will look right on my phone. What a rip off!!!!

Disappointment
I thought, after many attempts trying different apps, that I had found a timer to remind me when to take my medication. This app almost made the grade but if you close the lid on an iPad the alarm fails to go off. Pretty useless then!
Doesn't work
It's pretty, but it doesn't make any sound at all when the timer finishes counting down.
Display always has ad on screen
Not mentioned in the app description or shown in screenshots. Ruins the otherwise nice visual. No option to close the ad or pay to remove it either.

Visual is great, but audio doesn't work
I was looking for a timer app to countdown practice questions on the GMAT. This has a great visual interface to let you know how much progress you're making, but even if you set the timer to play a sound when it gets to zero, no sound plays. Bottom line, if you need an alert, don't get this app.
Not for me
I need Day, Hour. Minutes optional. This just has hours min sec
Not useful for me
I downloaded this because it said fully customizable but when I went into it, that was not the truth. I want to set more than 59 minutes without having to use the Hour side, for example 105 minutes, but it wouldn't let me do that
Excellent app
This is perfect for my workouts (30 sec intervals). Would have given 5 stars if the start/stop bottom wasn't so small.

Used to work fine, since the recent Apple update, it's a frozen screen, hope they sort it out soon, otherwise,,, ARMAGEDDON!
Perfect little countdown timer
A perfect little countdown timer: that's what I wanted, and that's what it is. Great simplicity, no clutter or confusion. The built-in iOS clock can't countdown in less than one-minute intervals, but this app does!

I'm a respiratory therapy student and use this app when studying for timed clinical scenario exams and other types of exams. Works great for other things like kitchen timer for cooking etc. Works perfectly as advertised, no glitches and I absolutely love it!
Love this App!
As an 8th grade student, I enjoy using this app to see how much time I have until the end of the day or week! The interface is simple, the tones are nice, and most importantly, this App is so useful!
P.S. if you're having trouble hearing the sound, go to your settings app, tap Notifications, then tap Best Countdown, and you know what to do from there. Now you don't need to rate this app so poorly.

I think it's good. And for those of u who say there's no sound, 1) check ur volume. 2) check ur hearing. 3) u have to SET the sound! DDDDUUUUUHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Does not work in iOS 6
Tried changing settings as recommended but still does not chime when phone locked. Useless app.
Simply works
Simple timer app. Works well. Several color themes, many choices of the alarm sound.
Suggested fixes: Move the start/stop and reset further apart.
Also should use an app setting for volume, instead of the phone volume.
Suggested improvement:
I would make the colored circle the start/stop (ie very big), the center the reset, and put an edit button (to change the timer setting) in a corner.

Just right
I have been looking everywhere on the App Store for something like this, but when I downloaded this I thought good I actually have something that I could work with. If I could give ten stars I would.
