Great Day in Lucerne & Bürgenstock, But Not Truly English‑Only Tour
We did the Lucerne & Bürgenstock day trip with river cruise from Zurich and overall had a very good experience. The bus was very comfortable, the ride was smooth, and everything ran exactly on time, which made the day feel relaxed and well organized. Lucerne and Bürgenstock themselves were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the boat ride and the views from the mountain. Our guides Muni and Victor were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the day, and our driver Elias did an excellent job as well The main downside for me was that, although I had booked an English‑speaking tour, the guide was actually doing the commentary in two languages (English and Spanish) for the same group. This meant every explanation was repeated, which became a bit annoying and is not what I thought I was signing up for; if I had known this in advance, I probably would have chosen differently. Overall, I would still recommend the tour for the itinerary, comfort, and punctuality, but I strongly suggest that the company clearly highlight in the description that the tour is bilingual on the bus so guests know what to expect
