Best Partner is free to download and brings shot lists, photos, case and shared records, recommendations, measurements, audio, transcripts, and exports into one fieldwork workflow. Core features in both Standard and Advanced modes are free and unlimited. Photo ZIP exports, recording sharing, and recommendation-list JPEG/PDF downloads have no usage limit. No subscription or usage-credit purchase is required. BUILD AND ORGANIZE LISTS • Add entries manually, paste multiple lines, or import the included Excel template. • Recognize fields such as name, gender, age, job title, and department, then rename fields as needed. • See total people and photo counts with person and camera icons on the same line. • Starred items appear first; unstarred items are sorted by the nearest capture date. • Long-press and drag to reorder. A moved item is starred automatically, and dates do not override the custom order of starred items. CAPTURE, RECORD, AND RECOMMEND • Keep shooting with the system camera, including tap-to-focus and pinch-to-zoom; each photo is added automatically. • Select multiple photos from the library and create watermarks from fields such as ID, name, and job title. • Keep case and shared records in separate sections. • Save category, specification, improvement strategy, quantity, and acceptance outcomes for recommendations. • Keep an edited recommendation in one case or also add it to the recommendation library. AUDIO AND OFFLINE TRANSCRIPTION • Recording, sharing, and transcription begin only when you choose them. Transcribe a full recording or selected time range. • Use bundled offline Chinese/English speech recognition or an optional Taiwanese model. • Add anonymous A/B/C speaker labels, play individual segments, and edit transcript text. • If iOS interrupts processing, the recording and completed progress are preserved so you can resume. FIELD MEASUREMENTS • Record reference values for light, distance, noise, slope, and dimensions. • Calibrate slope measurement and record longitudinal and cross slope. • On a supported LiDAR iPhone or iPad, use two-point dimension measurement for shoulder width, width, height, and depth. EXPORT AND SHARE • Package photos and attachments as ZIP. Photo ZIPs can also include a by-person recommendation-list JPEG. • Download recommendation lists as JPEG or PDF, and share recordings directly. • Photos, audio, transcripts, routes, measurements, and other regular records remain on the device by default. OPTIONAL SUPPORT AND SEPARATE SERVICES • Support Development in-app purchases are completely optional. They do not unlock, add, or restrict any core feature. • Custom Word Documents are separately purchased customization services. Provide your own .docx file and layout requirements, and we help configure where photos and record text appear. • Each Custom Word Document includes three layout revisions. Further layout revisions are separate purchases. • The app has no subscription, third-party advertising, or tracking SDK. PRIVACY AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION Regular lists, photos, audio, transcripts, routes, and measurements remain on your device by default. Only when you choose Custom Word Documents are your Apple account identifier, transaction and order data, uploaded Word file, layout requirements, and completed templates securely sent to and stored in Firebase. Apple processes payment; the developer does not receive your credit card details. Phone sensors and ARKit/LiDAR provide reference values only. They do not replace professional measurement, medical advice, tailoring, engineering acceptance, workplace-safety decisions, accessibility compliance checks, or legally required testing.
