What's New in BetCaddie

1.3

June 24, 2026

-New game: 5‑Point Scotch — track a 2‑vs‑2 round with Low Ball, Low Total, Proximity, and optional birdie, sweep, and press scoring. -New game: Left Left Right Right — drives decide partners each hole, scored best‑ball for 3 or 4 players. -Amigos scoring fix — corrected the calculation on holes with a double‑digit net score (e.g., a net 10), which previously produced an incorrect, oversized total. -Live scorecard now shows strokes — when following a round, the scorecard displays each player's handicap strokes on holes not yet played, and now includes 5‑Point Scotch and Left Left Right Right. -More reliable round following — correcting an earlier hole now updates followers properly, and shared rounds keep updating after you close and reopen the app. -Visual polish — consistent cards and menus throughout.

Perfect Bet Tracking

We always have a few side games going on and it’s always taken a bit of time after the round to add it up and agree on the payouts (if we agree at all).

This app tracks everything in real time. Round ends and the bet totals are settled.

Needs to be able to customize

The first issue is you can’t do wolf and nassu at the same time. In my group we play wolf and have side Nassau bets as well

2nd issue is, it does not seem like you can have 5 players for wolf. We do this all the time

On 17 and 18 the player with lowest dot total gets the wolf designation, so being able to override / pick a player for an out of order wolf would be nice

3rd issue is that like greenies we do loads of other trash bets
Gorillas
Sandies
Polies
3 putts
Chipies
Etc. there is no way to add custome dots or trash

We also generally have 3 - 5 groups running and do skins and closest to hole on all par 3 for all groups. Would be nice if you could say have all groups and those scores are all compared for the skins match

An example of a three putt would be as follows

Player 1
Player 2
Player 3
Player 4
Player 5

If player 1, 3 putts put a check mark on his line for three putt. This would add 1 dot to the other players score

If multiple people 3 putt they would also pay a dot to all players

I love what you are doing here.

18 birdies has some of this ability but they are lacking basic stuff as well, and fail to respond to feature request

I would have happily paid 25 a year if this app did the above items to make life easier

Also with 18 birdies it is clunky on the betting and takes me a long time to enter in all the dots and stuff

Again. The low rating is because I feel like it is missing stuff

One thing 18Birdies does not do is add up all payouts with accuracy

If
Player 1 has 10 dots
Player 2 has 7 dots
Player 3 has 6 dots
Player 4 has 3 dots

Then player 4 owes
3 dots to player 3
4 dots to player 2
7 dots to player 1

And so on and so forth

I did not verify. As I did not get this far. But in Nassau your app should take handicap in to play and be able to give strokes on the highest handicap holes per side. ( it may do this but I did not get that far

I would be happy work thru examples if you are gonna do the work to implement it all.

I would even resubscibe if you were willing to make lots of changes

If the app does all examples great. If it does 3 of 5 then we still have to use pencils and scorecards which just defeats the purpose
