Newest update freezes out those with older devices
If you have an older device, you will not be able to update this app. And, you can’t use the app without updating! This freezes out many people, especially those who are 65+. Why would a bank choose to make banking harder for their wealthiest customers?

This bank refuses to let me transfer my funds to PayPal by card or check
Any bank must be better than this one. I have had an account open for two months. They denied issuing my debit card because I made a Walmart purchase in the first week. Then they said they refused because my direct deposit wasn’t made yet, then they refused to let me transfer money to my PayPal which I have done for years, then they said use electronic check, which I did and it was still declined, I ordered checks and still waiting on those. I deposited over $20,000 and this is how they treat me. It’s earning 0.035% in savings. They are gatekeeping my own money. Going elsewhere ASAP.

Text Size default setting
The most recent adaptive font changes are said to mimick what you have in your phone settings. The new dashboard is almost double the text size as in previous releases. This is something that should be available to change in preferences in the app.
Better Banks
Better Banks is the best. I’ve had an account here since I turned 16. They always go the extra mile.
Trouble submitting mobile deposit!
My brother banks at chamber of commerce he has no trouble at at depositing mobile checks
One picture of front and back and as long as the routing number and account number are clear and he signs the back he has no problem at all depositing that way . It took nine times yesterday and 4 times today finally deposited
I do get wonderful help at the better banks staff always! I will not change banks , just thought you should know!

Great Employees
I just really enjoy walking in the Alta Road branch. All of the staff here are so friendly I bank here for both my business and my personal. It’s always a pleasure to visit the Better Banks branch in North Peoria.
Excellent
While there are always a couple of things not to like about a new version of an app, this app is sooo much better than their old app. It is REALLY fast. So much easier to get to different areas. Can now create new payees. Setting up accounts I had at another bank out-of-state was easy so can now transfer between them. Thank you!

Better Bank’s App
Their app is clunky and outdated. Ex 1) A customer cannot download transactions. 2) A customer cannot access previous statements unless signed up for digital statements, rather than paper statements.
A Step Backwards
Very disappointed in the latest version of this app. Although it gives me more detail in some areas, it isn’t enough to counter how discouraging it is to do other business in it now. This is how you lose customers.
Love it
So happy they released this new version couldn’t even interact with this last one this feels up to date and modern and I can actually make payments on it now. I love it!!
