I’ve been to several Better Off events, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best ways to meet people in NYC. Making friends as an adult is so hard 😭 but Better Off makes it easyyyy! The craft nights are especially amazing, and I’ve met such a great group of girls through them!

I saw this app online and signed up for a better off brunch after moving to NYC for the first time. I wasn’t sure what to expect but wanted to do something to explore the city and meet some new people. I was so pleasantly surprised everyone was so open and welcoming at the event and I actually had so much fun. Will def be going to more!

Great way to meet new people / try new things in NYC
I love meeting new people and trying new things here in the city. One of the first apps I’ve found that does a really good job of facilitating these social get togethers without being part of a social club.

I’ve been to several better off events and each time it’s been a blast. Met really great friends, who I’m still in touch with. I have to say it’s a great way to meet people and the activities are always so engaging and fun. Highly recommend joining.

Full disclosure - I work at Better Off but I’ve met hundreds of amazing people through the app.
It’s so easy to get sucked into social media, dating apps, politics, etc at the expense of doing fun things with awesome people in person.
Hopefully we can start moving back to IRL Social and away from being chronically online 🙃.

Always find cool events thru this app whenever I have free time during the week. Met some awesome ppl too; being on and off the app is a great experience!

truthfully was just really bored and looking for someone to do new things with. wasnt sure if it would actually work. met 2 girls and we have seen each other almost every week trying new workout classes and hiking trails. just try it u never know:)

Great App! Great Events!
I’ve attended several events using this app, including a brunch and a painting class. The app was easy to use to find events and get info once I’d selected an event. The events themselves were also well run and I met people I never would have otherwise. Looking forward to the next one!

I first started doing sports leagues with Better Off, which was honestly a blast (kickball and bowling). Finding out about it online, I didn’t know who to expect but everyone was cool, friendly, looking to have fun (and normal!). Also, this app is easy to use and sign-up was super smooth. Excited to meet some new peeps!
