Slowly Getting There
This has got the makings of a great player, after sending emails with no reply I still find the same bugs present.
Please sort out the playlists as the options do absolutely nothing, also a list of bug fixes would be helpful as with the latest version 2.4 I'm unable to find any improvements.
I really want to give five stars but the bugs and no response from the developer put it at three

Beautifully Designed
Very well built with a beautiful design. Clearly a lot of love went into this app and it shows.
Great podcast app
I’ve used a lot of podcast apps over the years and BetterCast is one of my favourites. Looks nice and fairly minimal which i personally like. There are some features that are not in the app which I miss from other podcast apps but I can definitely recommend BetterCast.

A Lot of Potential
Having tried many of the Podcast apps out there, this one is the third-party app that feels most iOS. Interface is great but right now (Oct 2026) it still lacks some customizations and feed controls - like hiding episodes based on a text filter or swiping to hide them from the podcast page - that would be invaluable for episode management.
It’s still my go to app at the moment but I keep debating moving back to other options.
