Not sure how accurate this is.

I own a 2023 F250 super duty 6.7 twin turbo diesel, pretty common Truck, how is my truck information not recognized? So I did have to calibrate, just not sure how accurate the calibration is, seems pretty rudimentary it’s telling me my gooseneck pin is almost 28% of the trailer weight, should be between 10-15% 28 seems way high.

Silverado 2500

Doesn’t work with the 6.6liter gas with the six speed transmission. I need to return this thing.

Will not connect to Bluetooth

Followed instructions and it doesn’t show up on the long list of Bluetooth on my phone. No other Bluetooth connected. 2021 F-150.

Would not calibrate

App constantly freezes and would not calibrate for my 2022 vehicle.
Support isn’t available on the weekends. Are you kidding me?!?!

Support is lacking

The app works pretty well, and has some great features. However, when the accuracy changed I sent two support requests that went unanswered. I contacted support a third time by phone and reached someone, but never received the promised follow up. Finally, I managed to overcome the issue I was dealing with, but it’s hard to have confidence in a product that requires three contacts to support to get a response and no follow up.

Wildly Inaccurate

A waste of $99

Haven’t gotten two consistent readings within 10% of each other in a row.

Not once

Not a single time

Not on a single option

And confirming the tongue weight with a certified scale found it consistently off by over a hundred pounds

I'm sorry you had an unfortunate experience with our product. Please reach out to CURT Product Support at 1-877-287-8634 or go to the Help section of the Settings inside the BetterWeigh app and click on the email address to send us an email. We would like to figure out why your weights were so inaccurate with your vehicle.

Good for basic measurement

The app is great, for a basic measurement. It would be nice if you didn’t have to recalibrate every time you wanted to weigh something though.

Apple CarPlay integration would be amazing too; not having to look at another screen on the dash if one is already available would make things easier and safer.

A digital scale readout would be nice too.

Thanks for your review and suggestions! I'm not sure I understand your issue. BetterWeigh comes already calibrated with a Vehicle Weighing calibration and a Suspension Weighing calibration for most vehicles. If a calibration doesn't exist for your vehicle, you will need to perform a calibration before using those features that require that particular calibration. Once the calibration has been completed, there is no need to recalibrate in between weighings.
